That’s why SickKids Foundation is looking for a new Associate, Leadership Giving.Position Status: Permanent Full-TimeAvailable: ImmediatelyDescription of the Position:The Associate, Leadership Giving, will be a key fundraising member of the Marketing team.This role will support mid-value donor segment initiatives, engaging donors through a combination of direct 1:1 fundraising and execution of marketing campaigns. Gifts within this segment range from $5,000 to $50,000 annually.You will:·Actively manage and grow a portfolio of current and prospective donors, leveraging multiple channels within the marketing and sales mix (direct, digital, social, phone and in-person);·Support initiatives to engage lapsed donors and diverse community segments;·Work closely with the Leadership Giving team to support reporting and data infrastructure, adhering to best practices in database management; develop reporting and forecasts for the program; and provide input into analyses.·Relationship management:o Provide ongoing relationship management to donors and foundations, including identification, solicitation, cultivation, and stewardship; primarily through 1:1 meetings, email and phone channels;o Ensure outcome of donor discussions and follow-up actions are recorded in the donor database;o Support development of fundraising proposals as required.·Marketing Initiatives:o Support the development and execution of Leadership Giving marketing initiatives, including the briefing process, creative development, deployment and post-campaign reporting, and required segment research;o Assist with budget control forecasts and reporting;Identify acquisition opportunities and demonstrate portfolio growth.o Collaborate with other Foundation teams ongoing, including other Marketing, brand strategy and communications peers; Major Gifts; Gift & Estate Planning; Gift Administration; and Business Intelligence & IT;Required SkillsQualifications:While we know that for any job posting no one candidate will possess the qualifications being sought in equal measure, below is an outline of the qualifications we believe are important for a candidate to bring to the position or for the successful candidate to develop while in the role:·A certificate or degree in marketing and/or fundraising, or a related field;·A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience;·Ability to work independently in driving new initiatives and enhancing existing opportunities;·Strong business & financial acumen with analytical and financial experience;·Demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;·Ability to build new and long-term relationships with prospects, donors and/or clients;·Experience working with and guiding agency partners;·Superior verbal and written communication skills;·Experience using CRM software (e.g. Blackbaud, Salesforce, etc.);·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize and multi-task;·A go-getter and team player with a positive attitude who is creative, resourceful, eager and motivated.We’re looking for a passionate individual who is interested in moving the dial and making a difference.
