The Manager, Distribution Grid Operations is responsible for overseeing the continuous operation of the distribution grid. This role involves managing various projects within the organization, and the Manager works on a rotating schedule of up to 12-hour shifts to ensure operational success.
Job Description
Our company is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the storage and distribution of materials, ensuring an organized and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
– Assist with the receiving and processing of incoming materials
– Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
– Prepare orders for shipment and ensure accuracy
– Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment
– Communicate effectively with team members and management
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
– Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Forklift certification a plus
