Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our customers and employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.

Responsibilities:
– Monitor and patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
– Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
– Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises, if necessary
– Escort individuals from one place to another, ensure the safety of assets, and greet customers and staff in a friendly and welcoming manner

Qualifications:
– High school diploma or GED equivalent
– Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred
– Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 pounds
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
