  • Acting as a liaison between new hires/augmented staff with requirements to enter Canada, including but not limited to accommodations, On-Boarding confirmation and support. etc.
  • Maintaining detailed initial and ongoing case assessments for further processing or immigration strategy re-adjustment.
  • Case timelines and deadlines are recorded, and required applications and additional document submissions are being processed.
  • Consultating with Team Lead and Immigration firm, researching and preparing recommendations to present to Talent Acquisition advisor and/or hiring manager immigration options/risks for foreign worker hires.
  • Reviewing and preparing case submissions in support of resource applications (Permanent Residency (PR) and Work Permits, etc.), Work Permit Application Coordination, Work Permit Renewals, and coordinating and informing internal and external stakeholders of updates (HR, etc.).
  • Providing ticket management to the HR Service Delivery team.
  • Maintaining human resources records for employees by recording the hiring.
  • Updating benefits provider with new enrolments.
  • Preparing various employment letters.
  • Preparing onboarding packages and welcome kits.
  • Drafting communication to candidates and new hires.
  • Tracking onboarding metrics and surveys to compile reports.
  • Tracking progress of new Immigration Files and work permit expiry dates.
  • Other duties as assigned by your manager.

  • Education
  • Degree or diploma from a college or university program in Human Resources or Business.
  • CHRP designation (or working towards) would be an asset.

Bilingual Immigration Case Manager – Pacston – North York, ON

Job description: Pacston Canada is on the hunt for Case Managers to work in Canada to manage global immigration cases. This position acts as the first point of contact and support for clients who require global immigration applications. The duty of this position is to instruct, assist and communicate with clients to prepare all documents required. We will provide an orientation and full training after onboarding. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are interested in the law / legal field, receiving training and exposure to the field of federal law and assisting in global talent migration.

Ideal applicants should be able to work 40 hours every week.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assign and edit technical/legal documents and letters based on internal materials

2. Revise documents according to internal specifications and client feedback

3. Reply to client messages in the case management system

4. Work on reference letter projects

5. Overtime might be needed to respond to clients’ messages and finish client’s projects on time

6. Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

1. Excellent English writing skills

2. Strong attention to detail

3. Outstanding client service skills

4. Proficients with G Suite, Microsoft Office, Adobe Pro

5. High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently under tight deadlines

6. Demonstrated professional demeanour

7. Excellent multitasking and time management skills

8. Have a BA or MA degree

9. Speak a second language other than English

10. Relevant internship or work experience as assets
