Let’s break down the day-to-day a little further:

Content Creation*

  • Create, curate, and edit content for a variety of asset types including, but not limited to: blogs, white-papers and long-form documents, infographics, 1-pagers, press releases, sales collateral and webinars
  • Own the social media channel content calendar and content posting. Work closely with product marketing, demand generation and talent teams to curate the right mix of messages that reflect the Resolver brand and position Resolver as a thought-leader within the Toronto tech community as well as within the Risk industry
  • Curate and develop email communications, including the monthly newsletter as well as ad-hoc email messages around product updates, partnerships, webinar offerings, etc.
  • Take ownership of the Resolver blog, defining what type of content belongs in the blog and planning the content calendar; manage guest blogs and executive blog pieces to ensure variety and engagement of content
  • Ensure content has the right voice and tone to deliver on brand consistency, create and manage copy guidelines with external freelancers and partners, ensuring all Resolver content aligns to overall brand positioning

Content Strategy

  • Work with subject matter experts, internal stakeholders, vendors, analysts, and industry experts to design and execute a thought leadership content program
  • Identify gaps in the existing content strategy; what are we not doing? Are there markets or stages in the buying cycle where content can better support our prospects and customers?
  • Our goal is to have prospects and customers turn to Resolver content to keep informed and help them achieve great things within their organization. An important aspect of this role is to keep up with industry trends and stay abreast of world events to deliver relevant and timely content.
  • Manage a content creation budget to deliver on thought-leadership, increased SEO traffic, and opportunity and lead generation objectives
  • Work with third-parties including analysts, partners, select vendors, industry relevant thought leaders, etc. on content exchanges, collaborations, partnerships, sponsorships, and co-branded content
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that content distribution opportunities are maximized with both archival content and net-new content creation; own the content library for Resolver

Content Analysis & Insights

  • Track and measure effectiveness of content using asset specific KPIs and metrics
  • Apply a basic understanding of SEO (and work with Digital Marketing team) to measure content performance’s effectiveness in driving traffic and generating sales opportunities
  • Work with the SEO specialist to use SEO content tools to identify content creation opportunities based on keyword searches, prioritizing high volume keywords for content creation

The Role

Think Research is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will be expected to increase growth in digital channels through data, segmentation, platform expansion, and creative testing.

The right candidate will have the desire to own major acquisition channels and take bold strokes to expand and optimize them. You Will Have The Opportunity To


Website / SEO:

  • Own the strategy for all on-page SEO, landing page optimization, and conversion-rate optimization
  • Assist with ongoing oversight and updates of web properties for Think Research and its subsidiaries
  • Assist in reviewing SEO results; create strategies (including new content, based on critical keyword data) to attract prospects from specific verticals and boost lead numbers for global markets

Online Ads / PPC:

Email & Marketing Automation:

  • Work with the product marketing and content marketing teams to design and implement email nurture tracks to guide leads through the sales process

  • Create new email templates and campaign landing pages
  • Report on results and KPIs, and continually improve based on performance
  • Help build and manage email database using Salesforce and Pardot


Reporting:

  • Measure, track, and optimize on channel and program performance so that we consistently achieve and exceed key brand and growth KPIs.
  • Present key learnings weekly, monthly, and quarterly.
  • Monitor and report on performance, page speeds, schema validation, HTML status codes for multiple websites.
  • Perform regular keyword research and report on rankings.


What You Will Bring

The SEO Analyst directly contributes to the company’s growth by performing keyword analyses, closely monitoring rankings, trends and best practices. This position uses the latest SEO techniques to improve the company’s online search results and traffic levels. The success in this role comes from superior analytical skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: *

  • Perform keyword analysis with the use of tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, MOZ, SERanking, Helium10, Appradar to ensure all generated content follows SEO’s best practices.
  • Provide SEO analysis and recommendations to ensure all elements on our websites are optimized to drive rankings and attract relevant traffic..
  • Execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals.
  • Implement link building campaigns in coordination with site’s specific goals
  • Have the latest SEO, search engine, social media, video and ecommerce industry trends.
  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
  • Perform keyword research for Amazon listings using Helium10
  • Perform keyword research for App Store Optimization
  • Perform keyword research for YouTube video optimization
  • Identify and negotiate with powerful sites to manage guest post publications
  • Work closely with internal team to prepare SEO content for upcoming product launches
  • Communicate efficiently with clients to accomplish their SEO goals
  • Search for and communicate with contractors who can provide specific SEO-related services

YOUR SKILLS: *

  • 2+ years technical SEO experience and eagerness to learn
  • Passion for SEO and ecommerce
  • Marketing, ecommerce experience, or related education
  • Strong knowledge of SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Keyword Planner, MOZ, SERanking, Helium10, Appradar.
  • Strong logical thinking and organizational skills to manage different projects and information at a time.
  • Proven analytic and creative skills
  • Basic understanding of HTML
  • Strong aptitude with Google spreadsheets
  • You are performance-driven, want to take on a high level of responsibility, and work in a high paced, high-growth environment
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills
