Skillset & Qualifications:Required:

  • 5+ years in digital marketing with a focus on performance-based marketing (preferably digital acquisition, eCommerce).
  • Proficient in performance marketing, conversion, and customer acquisition with proven demonstration of paid media strategic development and a strong understanding of how paid media and performance marketing integrates into overall marketing strategy.
  • Experience managing a team of direct reports and overseeing a team’s day-to-day operation, performance, and reporting on metrics.

The ideal candidate has experience working on technical products, with experience in driving growth and retention, and is passionate about doing right by our customers. You are diligent, exhibit exceptional attention to detail, and are a strong communicator. You will be part of a diverse and collaborative environment and a key point of contact for R&D teams taking products from idea to reality. Your day-to-day tasks include research, writing various product documentation, helping execute on various initiatives on our roadmap, reporting and analyzing product performance for continuous improvements. If you’re driven, analytical, creative, organized, adaptable, performance-focused, and able to deliver high-quality work within a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.This role is an internship in our Reading Experience team. You may also work with other product managers on special initiatives.Even if you do not have experience in product but are looking to make a pivot into product management and have experience that can apply to the responsibilities, we’d love to hear from you.Key Responsibilities:

  • Help and participate in user research in collaboration with the product and design team.
  • Collaborate on initiatives; write high-level requirements and work with business stakeholders to agree on the scope of an initiative related to your product.
  • Monitor, analyze and report on the performance of your product
  • Communicate the status of current initiatives and keep teams informed of progress
  • Review research, customer feedback channels, and product analytics, seeking problems to solve for users and opportunities to improve your product.

The Skillset:Required:

  • Experience working in digital consumer products a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to convey insights from complex analysis to non-technical business users at varying levels of quantitative familiarity.
  • Technical experience and curiosity.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, self-motivated, creative problem solver with a high attention to detail.
  • Dedication to continual self-improvement and learning.
  • A love of reading, obviously
