This role is perfect for a Master’s level student passionate about promoting equity and fairness in decision-making processes, particularly within technology and organizational systems. This immersive internship offers hands-on experience, collaboration with senior management, and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. While demanding, it promises to be a rewarding complement to your academic journey, equipping you with valuable skills and insights.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies to identify and reduce biases in organizational processes, including hiring, AI models, and decision-making systems.
- Conduct audits of existing processes to detect potential bias.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement training and education programs focused on bias mitigation.
- Research and recommend best practices for equity and inclusion.
- Design frameworks for monitoring the long-term effectiveness of bias mitigation efforts.
- Prepare reports summarizing findings and actionable recommendations.
About You:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field required. Master’s program enrollment or completion is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of implicit bias, discrimination, and equity principles.
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis of bias in systems.
- Familiarity with inclusive design principles and ethical technology practices.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
