  • Provide thourough instruction in the safe use of the Axis suite of products to Axis customers (online and with frequent travel to mine-sites or remote exploration drilling locations).
  • Setup, support and maintain customer online cloud accounts and data (Axis Connect).
  • Trouble shoot problems and provide support to customers in regard to the Axis suite of products.
  • Verify and maintain properly functioning survey tools with routine maintenance and calibration.
  • Support the sales team by providing feedback and insights on potential sales opportunities, emerging risks, and competitor intelligence, and by providing demonstrations to current and prospective clients.
  • Draft proposals and quotation for new and recurring business.
  • Maintain personal CRM data and support asset tracking.

Specific Duties

  • Demonstrate safe work practices.
  • Instruct operators in the concept of, safe use of and maintenance of the Axis suite of products.
  • Advise customers and operators on the correct application of the Axis suite of products.
  • Trouble shoot problems customers may have with the Axis suite of products.
  • Analyse data to determine validly of survey results.
  • Check survey tool functionality and calibrate as required.
  • Setup and QC rental kits prior to delivery/distribution to customers.
  • Setup online cloud accounts and train the users on the effective operation.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and instructional material for the Axis suite of products.
  • Coordinate and demonstrate the Axis suite of products to potential clients.
  • Schedule all travel and manage all personal tasks to ensure customer requirements are met.
  • Liaise directly with customers (current and prospective) in regard to travel arrangements and site access requirements.
  • Track technical support calls and sales opportunities, and maintain data in the company CRM.
  • Liase with Canadian management and Global Excellence teams to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Other tasks as directed by management.

  • Must have a valid Canadian Driver’s License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • In depth knowledge of drill-hole survey equipment, systems and processes.
  • Solid understanding of exploration drilling principles and practices.
  • Strong computer skills with Office 365 software and CRM experience.
  • Self-starter with meticulous attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to perform manual tasks.
  • Energetic personality able to multitask and prioritise workload.
  • Team player that will work cooperatively with other stakeholders to further develop the organisation.
  • Ability to work with confidential information.
  • Preparedness to work underground, as needed.
  • Ability to communicate at a professional level in English and French, is nice to have but not required, since this role will be supporting internal and external customers inside and outside of Quebec.

Travel: This position will require you to travel up to 50%-75% of the time between the US, Canada and Mexico and you will be exposed to challenging working environments. Every effort will be made to minimize last minute travel plans, but there are times where it will be unavoidable. You can expect to be away from home for periods of at least 7-10 days at a time.What you will bring
