  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue growth targets for both the Digital Pathology Imaging Instrumentation business in coordination with the Account Managers. Coordinate and manage Digital Pathology Imaging Equipment Installations within specified product line, including site readiness, pre-installation reagent order management and post-installation follow-up. Along with the manager, coordinate communication on pre/post sales technical and application assistance in response to customer enquiries, escalations and troubleshooting.
  • Communication with internal teams, including the business unit, tech support, management and the field service organization to manage and lead regional technical investigations where required. Conduct virtual and onsite demonstrations and product presentations; actively participate in sales process for existing and potential customers.
  • Perform and document customer training (including refresher training), as requested by internal teams and/or customers. Manage and coordinate customer sample requests (DIR), new product evaluations, new product introductions. Optimize instrument performance, quality and utilization.
  • Perform experiments to investigate and solve more complex technical applications problems. Owns completion of technical responses for RFP completion with thorough strategic responses. Assist selling team in selling cross-portfolio, lead generation, and account prospecting, as well as active participation in strategic selling for all product lines including blue sheet contribution and reviews. Proactively promote sales attachment with new installations, existing customers and competitive accounts. Maintain current market analysis, including a TAM tracker in efforts to increase market share, market visibility including competitive intelligence and increase customer awareness of Leica’s total product offering. Provide Marketing support for regional and global initiatives and transformative marketing. Conduct Customer Satisfaction/Wellness Assessments and Customer Business Reviews in line with performance objectives.
  • Routine use of DOMO and SFDC sales analytics tool and proactively monitor sales trends and communicates/summarizes to Sales and Management team. SFDC maintenance, including work order completion within expected timelines, updating customer information and adding notes and significant history, where applicable. Help to coordinate and manage product supply, including backorders, product substitutions, recalls, discontinuations and stay current with Leica’s current offering of region-approved Products. Actively participate in weekly and monthly forecast reviews, funnel management calls and territory business reviews. Develop relationships with existing KOLs, including pathologists, lab managers, technologists and researchers.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-3 years relevant industry (or equivalent) experience
  • Demonstrates and applies expanded conceptual knowledge in own discipline, with an understanding of related disciplines. Applies understanding of key business drivers to prioritize and accomplish own work. Solves problems in straightforward situations independently; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents. Understanding of Pathology Lab marketplace or a related discipline
