Job description: Job Title Intern – Supply Chain Intern – Ontario, California – Summer 2025Job DescriptionIntern – Supply Chain Intern – Ontario, California – Summer 2025Are you interested in an Internship opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) and/or graduate (MS) degree to participate in 3-12 month paid intern opportunities at our site in Ontario, CA, USA. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.Your role:
- Managing inventory, ordering items, and processing orders; Maintaining records, tracking deliveries, and ensuring customer support; Researching prices, handling material requisition, and managing RFQ process; Coordinating shipping for TL and LTL shipments
- Checking incoming raw materials and supplies for quality and compliance
- Working with purchasing team and suppliers to maintain KPIs and vendor relations
- Develop business guidelines for setting and maintaining master data fields in ERP
- Analyze and maintain appropriate target stock levels and safety stock, and surge stock levels using SAP and statistical inventory management tools and techniques
- Work with the Logistics Team to improve master data accuracy in ERP and prevent fulfillment delays in our product shipments
- Execute product test analysis, assess results and support brand discussions as part of product testing efforts and inform further refinement of the regression model to further improve accuracy of product test results
- Enhance test result analysis process, creating efficiencies and more effective approaches for assessment/decision-making
- Identify process improvement opportunities, key issues and support with qualitative and quantitative analysis

- You are pursuing a relevant degree such as Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Business/Administration, Management, Education, Operations Management
- Your skills include Excel, ERP, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Office Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Excel using large data sets
- You’ve acquired 2+ years of experience in University and/or previous internships or coops
- You have strong interpersonal skills and work well with a team
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this

Philips Transparency DetailsThe hourly pay range for this position is $21.00 to $31.00, plus overtime eligible.
