Job description: Job OverviewThe primary focus of the Distribution Coordinator, Deliveries & Licensing is smooth and accurate deliveries of inbound and outbound film materials and metadata to the appropriate partners. This position requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can balance following direction with taking initiative and thrives in an environment with changing priorities. Strong communication skills are essential, particularly when engaging with senior leaders and external decision-makers.ResponsibilitiesAsset Delivery Management
- Oversee the creation of outbound TVOD and Digital Licensing Partner deliveries, including:
- Creating marketing/sales slides for clients
- Collecting and placing client and internal orders with the lab
- Providing status updates to providers and addressing changes as needed
- Ensuring all content is prepared and available ahead of delivery deadlines and due dates
- Managing multiple asset deliveries simultaneously in coordination with the lab, with the ability to asses and prioritize accordingly
- Anticipate and address emerging issues, proactively mitigating risks and communicating obstacles to senior management with regard to material deliveries
- Manage data tracking and reporting by:
- Keeping internal trackers updated with delivery statuses per title
- Collaborating with the Rights Management team to ensure licensing deliveries are reflected accurately in the system
- Liaising with Finance to ensure timely invoicing of licensing deliveries
- Maintain metadata across all digital/transactional platforms
- Plan, organize, and submit various sales promotions for VOD platforms
- Coordinate with the Marketing team for the creation and delivery of artwork and trailers to promotional partners
- Oversee the creation of subtitles and closed captions when required
- Process vendor invoices related to deliveries
Inbound Delivery Management
- Act as a liaison with producers for the delivery of theatrical and post-theatrical assets, including DCPs, ProRes, and audio files
- Coordinate with the dubbing and marketing teams for the creation of localized assets
- Ensuring inbound delivery materials are delivered to the appropriate labs and internal contacts
Business Affairs
- Meet with the VP of Finance bi-monthly to discuss various Business Affairs-related tasks across the slate
- Submit Short Form License Filings to USCO and CIPO in a timely manner
- Track copyright filings within the designated schedule listing
- Draft and execute updated Lab Access Letters as needed
