Currently, Diversys is looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Associate to join the Marketing team as we accelerate our efforts across all areas of marketing. This role is a great opportunity for a fairly recent University graduate with 3+ years of experience, interested in a dynamic role with a growing technology company that offers great opportunities for overall career growth.

This is a 6-month contract, with a potential to become permanent.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key member of the marketing team, the successful candidate will be a self-starter, able to juggle multiple projects with competing priorities, very detail oriented, thorough, and highly-organized. Must be able to make decisions, take responsibility and run with projects from concept to execution and beyond with minimal oversight.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting and executing various marketing programs and campaigns to drive inbound marketing activities that support marketing and organizational goals
  • Assisting with updating website content, reviewing performance, and assessing SEO and PPC campaigns and results to make recommendations for ongoing improvements
  • Managing our social media profiles and presence, including LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., and expanding reach and engagement by monitoring industry channels and brand mentions, responding appropriately
  • Overseeing relationships with industry associations in order to plan, execute and report on all activities as required
  • Managing and helping to optimize email marketing, CRM, and nurture tactics, collaborating with content creators and the Sales team in order to grow engagement, pipeline and revenue
  • Assisting product marketing with conducting customer, competitor, and product research as required to improve our marketing strategies and tactics
  • Building and maintaining content and social media calendars to ensure alignment across content and campaigns regardless of channel
  • Monitoring and reporting on all activities across all channels as required
  • Supporting other marketing projects as required, such as conferences/tradeshows, webinars, product launches and more
  • Becoming the marketing operations point-of-contact, managing tools that include HubSpot, TekStack CRM, various website tools and others as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, business or related business discipline.
  • 3+ years in progressive marketing roles with a focus on digital marketing, email campaign deployment, and other marketing tactics
  • Experience with email marketing.
  • Experience using a CMS (Duda preferred)
  • Experience working with a corporate CRM
  • Project management skills (Planning, Time Management, Scheduling, Communications).
  • Strong analytical skills

The role of the Digital Marketing Associate is to manage and deploy marketing communications through email and on the website. Under the oversight of the Director of Marketing this role will also report and analyze channel performance and contribute to the annual plan.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Email Production

  • Contribute to the development of the channel strategy/annual plan.
  • Deploy, monitor, and report on all email campaigns.
  • Analyze current email marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage automation workflows, list pulls and segmentation strategy.
  • Test, test and more testing.


Website Management

  • Contribute to the development of the channel strategy/annual plan.
  • Oversee our email capture activities, i.e., free reports, popups, etc.
  • Manage website content and its performance.
  • Work with our website partner to manage the site.
  • Schedule and execute updates to our evergreen content for SEO.
  • Use Google Analytics to understand browsing behaviour and suggest ways to improve conversions.


Social Media

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for our (modest) social media presence.
  • Monitor performance and making necessary changes to ensure positive ROI.


Other

  • Assisting with additional tasks and duties, as required.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in marketing, digital studies, or related business discipline.
  • 3+ years in progressive digital marketing roles; broad marketing channel experience with a focus on web production, web design and email campaign deployment.
  • Experience with email marketing.
  • Experience using a CMS (WordPress preferred), Revive and Dreamweaver, and Unbounce.
  • Experience using HTML (moderate to high skill level, CSS preferred).
  • Project management skills (Planning, Time Management, Scheduling, Communication).
  • Strong analytical skills with the aim of uncovering actionable insights.
  • Solid understanding of workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle.
  • Design skills are an asset.
  • Detail oriented, thorough, and organized.
  • Must own decisions, tasks, and responsibilities.
  • Interested in and passionate about personal finance/investing.

You will provide hands-on, end-to-end management of campaigns and programs including conception and drafting of creative briefs, planning, execution, monitoring and reporting. You will work closely with our creative and media agency to develop compelling, contextual, and relatable marketing concepts that truly resonate and drive customer behaviour. You will develop clear master messaging for marketing plans and campaigns, and oversee implementation and adherence to the message in all respective channels. You will work cross functionally to develop and execute all marketing and communications plans that are integrated consistently across all communications channels including mass media, digital and social media, website and PR. You will work with the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications to develop annual and quarterly marketing communications plans. You will collaborate with key stakeholders across the organization to gain buy-in on the go-to-market strategies and plans.
