The Dispatch & Scale Clerk’s primary objective is the successful and safe shipment of materials to the customer. - Proactively communicate customer, transport and system issues with LM, sales and back-office to ensure timely resolution.
- Collect money for cash sales and reconciles against register as prescribed by control procedures.
- Administer resale ticket entry into APEX system in a timely and accurate fashion according to standard operating procedures to meet or exceed established OPIs for customer on-time and accurate invoicing.
- Assist in PO creation, receiving, work orders, payroll, and other reporting as required through SAP.
- Provide assistance via phone or face-to-face contact with visitors and direct them to appropriate personnel for further assistance.
- Where required, support the Logistics Manager by following the Load & Scale Policy and STP Policy programs.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly reports as prescribed by Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.
- Responsible for safety, hazard and violations reporting for drivers on site.
- Operating SAP/APEX systems (ticketing, PO, reports), while adhering to STP and load & scale policies.
