Job description: Description :Be a part of CHR’s growing organization!INTERNSHIP TYPE: InternshipHOURS/SCHEDULE: 8:30AM-5PM, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (placement to start in October through the end of December)Please note the requested dates/times, and start and end dates, are flexible depending on the intern’s availability/allotted time required through their programPROGRAM/LOCATION: Development, Windsor, CTSummary: Community Health Resources (CHR), the most comprehensive, non-profit behavioral healthcare provider in Connecticut, is looking for an intern to support our 2025 Adopt-a-Family Program.Adopt-a-Family matches generous donors with families served by CHR who would not otherwise have holiday gifts to share with loved ones. There was a high demand in 2024, and we anticipate the same demand this year. As such, we are looking for a reliable, dedicated intern who can assist us in performing a variety of tasks to support the program in our Windsor office.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Printing program materials
  • Updating records
  • Organizing gifts received by donors (in-person or via mail)
  • Answering the door for drop-offs/pick-ups
  • Keeping the area organized

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Be communicative with both supervisors and detail-oriented
  • Respect and maintain confidentiality of CHR’s client
  • Have a car and/or ability to travel to the Windsor office
