Overview

We are looking for a passionate, disciplined performance marketer that strives for great work with every campaign that not only breaks through with innovative ideas, but also helps deliver against business objectives. You come prepared with analytical and competitive facts, and strategic thinking to support your recommendations, and you bring forth solutions. You are able to prioritize and juggle many tasks at once while always keeping the customer front and centre.

In the role of the Brand Manager for Rogers Wireless SOHO & RPP, you will be responsible to ensure prospective customers receive the appropriate message at the right time via the most efficient/effective channel. You will work within an Agile Squad, and partner closely with the team to understand marketing priorities and translate those into innovative, actionable advertising campaigns for the Wireless SOHO & RPP portfolios. The successful candidate will assist in the strategic planning and the execution of all SOHO/RPP Acquisition life cycle management programs. This will include always-on campaigns across multiple channels, (ex. above the line media). You will advocate for the Rogers Brand across the organization and work closely with cross functional teams; Marketing, Pricing, CBM, CRM Ops, Insights, Data & Analytics as well as our external Agency partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brief, develop, and implement targeted campaigns that get the right message to the right customer at the right time for the Rogers Wireless SOHO/RPP portfolio
  • Daily contact for external agency and internal partners including Marketing, Pricing, CBM, CRM Ops, Insights, Data Analytics to develop campaigns outlined in the calendar, along with a range of business as usual activity.
  • Ensure appropriate budgets and media plans are developed to deliver optimal efficiency across all campaigns
  • Work closely with Data & Analytics team to ensure accurate measurement and reporting on the performance of campaign activities to support campaign initiatives.
  • Manage the development of reporting, post campaign reports and KPI dashboards, in partnership with the Data & Analytics team to track successes and build valuable insights that can be used for future learnings.
  • Responsible for the brand’s voice, personality and guidelines across all platforms for Rogers Wireless.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years of campaign management and performance marketing experience, agency or client side.
  • A results-driven performance marketing approach – analytical and strategic thinker able to turn data in actionable and relevant insight
  • Must be able to work in a professional, fast-paced environment and be willing to deal with shifting priorities – experience operating within an Agile business model preferred
  • A passion for marketing and the technology category with proven track record in media and campaign brief development with a focus on digital, social & content marketing
  • Outstanding project management skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and superior written skills with attention to detail
  • University or College degree, preferably in Marketing, Advertising/Communications or Business
  • Bilingual is an asset

This person’s mandate will be to implement Wireless Products and Pricing strategies established by Product and Commercial Strategy as part of a Transformation project to drive digital adoption, simplification and to improve financial performance.

With strong knowledge of industry products and solutions, the incumbent will lead the implementation of Wireless solutions in a new IT stack. Fundamental to the success of this role is the ability to collaborate with cross functional partners, drive strategic decisions, recognize opportunities for improvement and keep customer experience top of mind.

What you will be doing:
– You are the R4B Wireless Product expert for Salesforce implementation
– Deliver on the Transformation roadmap and provide regular updates at the working level and up to SLT
– Partner with Product Managers to provide requirements to develop Wireless Products and functionality in Salesforce
– Lead requirements gathering sessions with focus on simplification, user experience, ease of maintenance and future market trends
– Support Agile development in Salesforce and Waterfall development in legacy IT stacks
– Participate in functional and technical design, QA and BRT testing
– Lead Go to Market activities of each marketable launch
– Build strong and ongoing relationships with business leads, assisting on business specific analysis
– Work collaboratively across the organization, facilitating effective communication across business units and functional lines of business

What you bring:
– 5+ years of experience in the Telecom Industry with exposure to Wireless Billing systems, Products or pricing
– Experience in SFDC and/or Vlocity
– Experience in Agile methodologies
– Exhibit strong analytical proficiencies, advanced in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access and SQL
– Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs in a fast paced environment
– Superior written – Solid relationship building and influencing skills with a proven ability to work within a team environment.
– A master storyteller that can anchor their work – Passionate and committed, and can go ‘above and beyond’ always raising the stakes in their role.
