We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented User Experience Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with design, content, and marketing teams to enhance our website’s features and functionality, ensuring an optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with design, content, and marketing teams to implement website features that align with both user needs and business objectives.
  • Project Management: Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring that all deadlines are met efficiently.
  • User-Centric Focus: Conduct user research and testing to identify pain points and areas for improvement, translating insights into actionable design enhancements.
  • Effective Communication: Clearly communicate project updates, ideas, and concerns across teams to foster a collaborative work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with marketing agencies or in a marketing environment.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in design tools (e.g. Sketch, Figma) and analytics platforms.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

  • Work with a team of developers, designers, and project managers
  • Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes and configure WordPress websites

  • Contribute to and participate in the open-source community

  • At least 5 years of experience working with WordPress
  • Ability to create WordPress themes and plugins following best practices
  • Experience building modern WordPress sites that embrace the block editor
  • Experience working with a team and using a standardized development workflow
  • Experience using the Linux command line and Git
  • Experience using tools developing components using Gutenberg and Elementor
  • Understanding of software development practices
  • Experience writing PHP, SASS, Bootstrap, and JavaScript
  • Experience using a project management tool like Redmine or JIRA
  • Strong communication skills in English
