FKA has a full-time (remote) opening for a Digital Media Buyer with five or more years of digital marketing experience to join our growing media department. As a Digital Media Buyer you’ll demonstrate strong strategic thinking, the ability to convey strategies to clients and provide day-to-day oversight on media planning and buying activities. This role will drive strategies forward and be responsible for overseeing campaign performance and strategy for assigned clients. The Digital Media Buyer will report directly to the Media Directors and will work closely with the Media Coordinators by providing direction for the execution and maintenance of campaigns. The Digital Media Buyer will liaise directly with national clients and help oversee the management of media campaigns.

Candidates should possess:

  • Demonstrated subject matter expertise in digital marketing.
  • A strong familiarity with Google Ads (including search, display and YouTube), Bing ads, advertising on social platforms (including Facebook, Instagram and Twitter), Google Analytics and other digital platforms.
  • Experience reporting and measuring the success of digital media campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of conversion tracking and familiarity with Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience working with a variety of clients and annual budgets that range in size from five- to seven-figures.
  • A passion for finding innovative and creative digital media solutions for client problems.
  • Presentation experience and the ability to explain strategic recommendations through data, research and understanding of clients’ goals and measures of success.
  • Knowledge of traditional media research tools and experience planning integrated campaigns would be an asset.

Gather priorities and marketing plans from Agile squads in order to build a consolidate plan for the Rogers brand

Work with the value prop team to ensure synergy with planning and Agile squads

Responsible for the planning and strategy for all ATL pricing offers

Support HUB office with all Ad hoc requests

Analyze quarterly performance (in quarter) and derive actionable insights

Consolidate a comprehensive post campaign analysis of key programs to get learnings and course correct as necessary

What you will bring:

Minimum Undergraduate degree in a business discipline

5+ years of marketing experience and knowledge of the telecommunications industry

3+ years of experience in project management and cross-functional leadership

Enthusiastic self-starter with the ability to quickly learn and understand concepts, problem solve, take ownership, and manage work with minimal supervision

Ability to think outside the box to resolve complex issues in a cross-functional environment

Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to produce and sustain excellent results over a period of time

Position Summary

Marketing Strategy

Leads development and implementation of key marketing strategies to promote NPower Canada and increase program applications

Works with key stakeholders to develop and deploy paid and organic digital/social media strategies and marketing campaigns for program recruitment, reputation management and profile-raising initiatives across digital channels including social, website and email communications.

Monitors and evaluates the success of integrated marketing and advertising campaigns to continuously improve audience performance and lead generation along with awareness, and acquisition

Captures and analyzes marketing data/metrics, insights, and best practices, to identify areas for improvement and optimize campaigns

Leads marketing team to manage website content and provide recommendations for changes that will maximize SEO and SEM and positively impact awareness and program applications

Directs and oversees the work of contractors, including marketing agency, media buyer, vendors, web developers, and graphic designers

Champions and protects with NPower Canada brand, visual identity and style guidelines, providing oversight and ensuring consistency and quality

Content Development

Oversee management of website, digital and social media strategy and develop content to support priorities, activities, and programs in collaboration with Admissions, Outreach, Development and Program colleagues

Oversee the content calendar and preparation of compelling content for social media, collateral, English and French websites and e-communications, applying the appropriate communication style for a variety of audiences

Supervise website updates, enhancements, content and design initiatives

Support sponsored content development and creation in collaboration with partners

Supervise the design and production of key collateral, including brochures/flyers, video, and photography

Data and Reporting

Collect and leverage user (client) data to develop effective marketing campaigns

Produce reports and analytics on social content performance and offer insights and recommendations on digital strategy

Create, measure, and report effective benchmarks for performance of marketing campaigns, and assess against marketing goals

Develop and execute research objectives for content and design initiatives, for example website layout, content design, etc.

Keep abreast of market trends and current marketing best practices
