What will your typical day look like?

No day is ever the same, but you can look forward to applying your ideas and skills to help deliver the marketing elements related to the firm’s various sponsorships. You’ll support the activation of sponsorship properties and events, including supporting the tactical execution of sponsorship campaigns across creative, digital and social media, onsite brand presence, and client experience domains. You’ll work closely with your marketing colleagues and sponsorship partners to develop brand experiences related to each property, and then you’ll help track and report the value of our investments.

About the team

As the sponsorship specialist, you will be part of a small team reporting directly to the sponsorship manager as part of the Brand & Positioning team. The team consists of passionate individuals responsible for developing the strategy and leading the execution of brand, thought leadership and marketing initiatives for Deloitte in Canada. You are self-motivated, energetic, a team player, and keen to make your mark.

  • Solid understanding of sponsorships – their purpose, how to execute, how to position a brand, how to measure and evaluate against strategic goals/approaches

  • Willingness to learn
  • Minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience

Rogers Sports & Media is looking for a Social Marketing Manager to join our growing TSC Marketing Team. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the successful candidate will be accountable for bringing the TSC brand to life in social media content across all platforms.

He/she/they will do so by 1) acting as the brand voice in all social channels, 2) delivering thought leadership on social trends & leading the wholistic social content strategy for all channels and tactics, 3) managing all internal and external partners (Digital Content, Creative, Web, Merchandising, and social partners such as Facebook/Instagram, Twitter and influencers) to execute the social content strategy.


What you will do…

  • Act as the voice of the brand across social media communities, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest & Youtube
  • Lead strategic development and execution of organic social content plans, including forecasts, growth strategies, and key tactics
  • Execute organic social media campaigns with excellence to achieve all financial, customer acquisition, follower growth and engagement targets
  • Develop a robust content calendar including pre-planned and “in-the-moment” content to bring the brand to life in the key moments that matter
  • Lead the influencer marketing strategy and execution, including identification of key influencers based on alignment to brand identity & business objections, contract development and influencer relationship management.
  • Ensure that consistent and elevated brand identity and voice are maintained across all social content and channels
  • Own the ongoing reporting, measurement and optimization of all social campaigns and channels, including communication to key business stakeholders, leveraging social listening, competitive reviews and KPIs
  • Lead social insights development by leveraging social listening tools and by collaborating with Customer Care
  • Drive thought leadership and strategic plans to evolve with emerging trends in the social landscape
  • Recommend and activate against strategic test & learns in line with emerging social trends and platforms

What you will do:
