Monday to Friday 9:00am-5:00pm
$50,000-$60,000 (depending on experience)

Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in an administrative role
Strong MS office and WordPress skills
Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and Microsoft Navision are huge assets
Must be a creative thinker
Outgoing, team oriented, eager and hungry individual – willing to take on additional tasks
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Job Duties:
General Admin Duties (50%)
Answering phones
Assisting to input invoices during peak time
Filing and various adhoc duties as requested
Digital Marketing (50%)

Website maintenance (adding new products, updating content)
Updating website, social media posts, newsletter creation (sending out to clients every few weeks), maintaining client emails for mass mails
Helping to design and create labels for new products
Creating product presentations (either print or PowerPoint)

We are looking for a Marketing Specialist.*

As a Marketing Specialist at Mednow, you will be working closely with Marketing SMEs and cross-functional internal teams to help coordinate marketing integration across the full customer journey. You will support new market and product launches, campaigns and programs, ongoing outbound collateral creation and overall marketing requests.

We can rely on you to:

  • Support the execution of our marketing strategy across all online and offline channels and platforms; act as a primary day-to-day partner to liaise between the Mednow Marketing team and cross-functional SMEs to drive delivery
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to gather requirements for briefings, coordinate production flows and work-back schedules, flag blockers, and facilitate reviews and approvals
  • Work closely with our Creative team to ensure marketing projects and deliverables remain on-track, and are both setup and executed successfully
  • Support content development and updates/optimizations of the marketing website and marketing landing pages – to help improve customer acquisition and engagement
  • Leverage both digital marketing and project management best practices

Your must haves:

  • 3+ years of marketing experience in a similar role, with a focus on digital marketing
  • Excellent organizational skills and a knack for efficiently managing multiple projects from beginning to end, in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; clear, concise, and effective written and verbal communication, with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, depending on what the project requires
  • Good knowledge of marketing principles and best practices; including digital, email, content and SEO
  • A degree in business, marketing, communications, or equivalent experience

You’ll get bonus points for:

  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with online project management tools (e.g. Asana) and content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
  • Experience working at an agency
  • French speaking

Here’s what you’ll be doing day to day…

  • Strategy: Develop strategic growth plans for clients by demonstrating a knowledge of best practices across digital strategy and technology solutions. You address any challenge and develop the necessary solutions to best fit the client’s short-term and long-term growth objectives.
  • Budgeting: Aide in the planning of short- and long-term goals, such as quarterly forecasting, annual budget planning and managing a portfolio of clients with an aggregate annual budget of between $3MM – $5MM. Effectively negotiate and secure profitable account compensation and lead the quarterly account review process.
  • Manage: lead the development of client SOWs, proposals and estimates, and ensures client understanding and approvals prior to work commencing
  • Industry Expertise: Nurture top-level client relationships by staying in regular contact about such things as industry/business trends, best practices, landscape changes, competition and proactive opportunities.
  • Lead: Supervise, train and mentor junior account team members on best practices.
  • Stress Management: Effectively handle any problems or issues that may arise from work quality or team performance.
  • Communicate: Touch base with clients, team members, and Senior Level Management on a daily basis on status of projects/pipeline of new business.

The ideal candidate for an Account Director position will possess the following competencies:

  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • 10 + years of agency account management and/or client-side experience, preferably in innovative, technology and digitally focused organizations
  • Past experience working on medium and large-scale projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge and experience in enterprise technology including content management systems, marketing automation platforms and other data or third-party integrations
  • Must excel under tight deadlines and be able to manage multiple concurrent assignments from planning and ideation to creative, development and deployment
  • Visionary, Entrepreneur, Leader
  • Understanding of an agency as a business and ability to run accounts profitably
  • Think one step ahead to proactively anticipate and prepare for problems and challenges
