The Senior Manager, Digital Acquisition is accountable for the development of digital marketing strategy and execution in support of the digital experience for Everyday Banking, Segment Marketing and Mortgages.
The Senior Manager provides digital support to Personal Banking Marketing, offer advice, and supports on digital marketing, and accountable for the end-to-end support of digital marketing campaigns/programs from inception through launch and performance tracking.
The Senior Manager, Digital Acquisition will be an expert in digital channels including SEM, Social, Digital Display and Affiliates, advanced knowledge of industry best practices and digital innovations, produce exceptional customer experiences and lead a team of Digital Marketing Managers.

Work closely with Product Marketing in development of strategies to drive new customer acquisition and act as an active collaborator go to market plans

May network with industry contacts to gain competitive insights and best practices.
Champion new innovative marketing tactics and gain stakeholder buy-in
Create culture of continuous improvement and lead the team in establishing a test and learn mentality
Lead complex cross-functional projects, collaborating with groups both inside and outside of Marketing
Defines business requirements for analytics & reporting to ensure data insights inform business decision making.
Leads the execution of operational programs; assesses and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.
Identifies and fully understands customer event triggers and develops differentiating marketing programs that support customer strategies, collaborating with other functions as appropriate.
Understands the key drivers of customer loyalty for each segment and develops specific strategies for each priority segment and sub-segment to deliver the desired customer experience and ensure alignment with market strategic positioning.
Provides customer and environmental insights to influence business decisions.
Analyzes customer strategy effectiveness and recommends adjustments and reprioritization as appropriate.
Develops, manages and executes direct marketing strategy.
Leverages existing direct marketing channels of customer communication to ensure broad reach of messaging.
Ensures all marketing programs are developed and executed in accordance with internal policies, procedures and standards, and external legal and regulatory requirements.
Executes strategic solutions to include direct response marketing, promotions and media relations.
Track, monitor and evaluate marketplace activities with respect to direct marketing and the business/group objectives, assessing impacts and making recommendations.
Monitor competitor activities on an on-going basis to understand initiatives, channels, offers, and tactics
Designs and produces regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders and stakeholders.
Applies expertise and thinks creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine.
Implements changes in response to shifting trends.

Qualifications:
7-10 years of experience with hands on experience in acquisition campaign design
BA in Marketing/Business.
2-5 years in a leadership role with multiple direct reports
Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge.
Comprehensive experience in developing digital marketing and customer communications plans, agency management, business forecasting and campaign optimization
Familiarity with omni-channel journey design leveraging marketing technology tools and complex data infrastructure to drive results
Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience with a solid understanding in digital channels and digital success metrics
Advanced experience in SEM and performance/direct response display, affiliate and proficient with digital ads platforms including Google 360 and Facebook
Ability to partner across a highly matrixed organization to drive impact, create clarity for others and drive to solutions. Expert level stakeholder and management skills.
Strong analytical orientation and comfort unpacking performance drivers
Strong project management and budget management skills to prioritize resources and investments across teams
Highly developed and proven leadership skills to motivate high performing team
Positive attitude and loves opportunities to collaborate with others
Knowledge of Retail banking or any heavily regulated industry is a plus
Advertising and/or creative agency experience an asset
