- Support the development and execution of our customer lifecycle strategy including new marketing programs, trigger communications, cardmember engagement initiatives, etc.
- End to end management of Amex Offers and partner-led offers, including assessing opportunities and launching offers within the market.
- Collaborate with the Aeroplan partner to bring to life new cardmember programs that challenge the status quo.
Strategy & Analytics
- Develop a detailed understanding of critical customer engagement, product and partner metrics. Ensure new treatments align to these objectives.
- Regularly report on and analyze the performance of key business metrics. Recommend and implement strategic actions and solutions.
- Understand customer and competitive trends by carrying out periodic competitive and qualitative assessments and providing commentary on findings.
Management
- Partner with internal marketing teams on developing communications and reviewing marketing materials for accuracy
- Work effectively across broader Amex teams to deliver enhanced efficiencies, processes, services and Cardmember experiences (Acquisition, Legal, Compliance, Technologies, etc.)
- Support day-to-day external and internal partner relationships
Minimum Qualifications
- University Degree in Marketing/ Business/ Commerce, or equivalent combination of education and business experience
- Minimum 2-year experience in an equivalent marketing position or product management work experience
- A self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, get results and champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation
- Experience developing partnerships and maintaining relationships
- Strong oral and written communication skills; emphasis on proposal development and the creation/delivery of effective presentations
- Proven track record of analyzing data sets; demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated multi-tasking, project management, attention to detail and prioritization skills in a demanding environment
- Strong ability to lead change and set priorities, with capacity to be flexible and adapt with new opportunities
- Proficiency in MS Office, notably Excel, Word and PowerPoint
