As a member of the Digital Marketing & Sales (DM&S) team, you will help deliver platform business strategies across public-facing digital channels for Personal Deposit Accounts (PDA) & the Youth & Young Adult (YYA) segment.

In addition to strategy, design, development and maintenance of the various public-facing digital properties, you will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to increase retention, acquire new clients and deepen relationships, build awareness and drive lead generation, resulting in tighter integration of each platform with the appropriate business model.

What will you do?

  • Develop new lead generation capabilities to grow digital sales, increase traffic and optimize the digital sales funnel.
  • Consult with Product and Marketing stakeholders to ensure that website initiatives align with business platform strategies and deliver corresponding solutions to achieve the overall goals and objectives.
  • Implement the integrated digital marketing strategy for PDA and YYA in alignment with DM&S’ merchandising approach with focus on client experience and key measurable areas for engagement, acquisition, lead generation and retention.
  • Develop and maintain highly detailed web analytics dashboards to be used by DM&S and key stakeholders for tracking sales, optimization and decision making.
  • Proactively mine web data for opportunities to optimize the client experience and increase digital sales.
  • Develop new strategies and collaborate with key stakeholders to further drive revenue growth and cost reduction, ultimately enhancing the online client experience.
  • Provide best practice expertise and leverage internal impact and influence, tracking capabilities and industry and channel research to determine and optimize effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Lead assigned DM&S initiatives for PDA within an agile environment for rapid development, idea generation and creative strategies to meet business targets with an eye towards integration of data collection, eCRM, behavioral marketing, real-time testing and performance marketing.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bachelors degree or College diploma in Business/Marketing/Technology.
  • 7+ years of digital marketing and corporate web design experience.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of the digital sales funnel.
  • Extensive experience with mining Digital Analytics, creating informative and highly detailed dashboards and translating data into insightful recommendations for senior leadership.
  • Must have intermediate to advanced experience with Google Analytics and DataStudio.

What You’ll Do:

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination, tactical execution, tracking and day-to-day administration of the regional marketing and business development strategy and initiatives
  • Provide support to the region and Toronto/Toronto North Regional Marketing Leader in all areas of marketing including events, sponsorships, advertising, direct marketing, publicity, digital marketing, website and social media

  • Gather and compile market research for planning purposes
  • Maintain marketing materials including promotional items, brochures and tradeshow equipment
  • Perform administrative duties specific to the marketing department such as updating and maintaining databases, client lists and preparing materials for distribution to clients
  • Measure, understand and report on the impact of marketing activities, including using the firm’s ‘Performance Reporting’ methodology (where applicable). Analyze the reporting information and make recommendations / adjustments to plans and programs where required.
  • Build profile and relationships in regional marketplace, including with local influencers, media and community (e.g. through attendance at local events)

Skills and Experience

  • Successful completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration specializing in Marketing, Communications, Project Management, English, Journalism or related discipline
  • Minimum of three years experience in a marketing capacity and a demonstrated understanding of the marketing process and project coordination
  • Digital Marketing understanding is an asset
  • Experience executing paid social media campaigns
