Learn more atWe’re growing fast and invite you to join our amazing team.As a member of our Descartes Customer Support team, you will work in a dynamic environment providing support and training for our customers. You will be required to answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail, and in-person requests for assistance from users experiencing problems with the software or requesting assistance on specific software features.Responsibilities:

• Responding to customer telephone calls and emails.

• Proactive monitoring of application behavior, and performing Training and QA
• Troubleshooting Descartes application software issues reported by customers.
• Maintaining customer contact and call ticket information within an existing database.
• Developing procedural and diagnostic documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• University or College level in a computer science or technology program (or equivalent).
• Experience within Transportation Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Industry.
• Customs Brokerage certification

• Experience in FTZ (Foreign Trade Zone Operations)

• Experience in the use of ABI and/or AMS software is particularly helpful, Descartes Oneview, Descartes NetCHB, Descartes QuestaWeb
• Knowledge of EDI messaging and/or other data integration technologies is a plus
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Applications
• Team oriented, with the ability to work independently.

Strong organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to multi-task.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must work well under pressure to meet the demands of our customers.
• Service oriented and solution driven.
• Experience within Transportation Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Industry.
• Experience with wireless communications.

Location: This is a remote opportunity, open to citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
