Job description: Leads strategy and oversees execution of day-to-day programming of Managed Social (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Facebook) channels, while supporting and coordinating efforts on Owned channels (redbull.ca and Red Bull TV). You will be responsible for attracting and engaging our key audiences across the marketing funnel by contributing to the growth and maintenance of audiences – reach, frequency, length of interaction across all platforms – by ensuring the right content is published at the right time on the right outlet. You will contribute to optimizing channel performance and experience through content scheduling, featuring, customized functionalities and smooth consumer journeys, while increasing awareness, relevance, and an engaged community that follows the Red Bull brand and its content offering. You understand how to analyze and interpret insights and apply this to the associated programming strategies and has exceptional project management skills. RESPONSIBILITIESAreas that play to your strengthsAll the responsibilities we’ll trust you with: Expand allSOCIAL CHANNEL EXECUTIONEnsures Red Bull Canada is engaging its key target audiences across the top of the funnel – our local and global Managed channels (@RedBullCanada , , and @RedBull , and ), driving conversion down the funnel to Owned platforms (RedBull.COM, Red Bull TV) directly or indirectly.Secures consistent, brand adequate, local, and inclusive tone of voice; drives emotional reaction through compelling storytelling.Has a strong understanding of platform optimization tactics and knows how to ideate, develop and execute content strategy with a platform first approach.Creative storyteller with knack for ideating and developing strong social-first content assets.Knows how to develop and build content calendars, publishing schedules and social activation plans for organic content campaigns.Well versed in native platform tools across social channels, identifying ways to leverage tools to reach new audiences.Builds and enhances community management by upgrading consumer and World of Red Bull relations:

i.e., Pays close attention to the World of Red Bull; ensuring we are actively commenting on anything relevant that our Red Bull Athletes, Dancers, Artists or partners publish on their own channels.Supports Media Network teams across Content, Communications and Creator Marketing with expert analysis recommendations with a social-first lens.Increases internal understanding of existing and emerging social media platforms, acts as a spearhead for social innovation across departments with key stakeholders while also working with external partners and supporting their objectives.PERFORMANCE, PLANNING AND PROJECT MANAGEMENTAnalyzes baseline performance of Red Bull Canada’s Managed and Owned channels using proprietary Red Bull analytics dashboards and 3rd party tools (GA360, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Instagram Dashboard, TikTok Dashboard, etc.) on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.Inputs all planned activity across social channels into Media Planet/Airtable on a weekly basis; aiming for two weeks minimum of content planned.Defines assigned channel priorities based on local channel performance, Global channel performance and Global guidance.Builds consistent local cross-network programming plans, utilizing local and Global programs to build awareness, relevance, content consumption and effective journeys around key moments and program releases.Briefs related content needs with external production partners and internal Content counterparts.Builds and aligns on activation plans across Managed and Owned channels with Communications, Sports Marketing, Brand Marketing, Field Marketing, etc.Project manages key local initiatives across departments and coordinates efforts with Programming counterparts (i.e., Social Media contractors, Owned channel managers and/or contractors and production partners).EXPERIENCEYour areas of knowledge and expertisethat matter most for this role:
- Experience with video editing and graphic design tools (i.e.Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, CapCut,etc).
- 2-5 years of experience required in organic digital programming of web, media and social channels; related roles in comparable industries such as Digital Specialist, Social Media Specialist etc. with a broad network of channels.
- Experience building and nurturing communities online to larger audiences and understands what it takes to be truly ‘always on’ in these spaces.
- A comprehensive understanding of the process of growing audiences and communities required; understands how to follow changes in algorithms, has a hunger and hustle to continuously learn about growth strategies, tactics, new social platforms, etc.
- Strong editorial understanding and connections with authors in Red Bull’s existing playgrounds an asset.
- Experience working with production partners and social editors; managing feedback communication loops.
- Cross-functional management experience; working within a global, matrix organization is an asset.
- Well organized with the ability to work under pressure.
- Creative thinker and innovator.
- Self-starter, able to work independently with confidence.
- Experience in social content commissioning, creation, and native organic publishing required, with a focus on Instagram, YouTube, TikTok an asset.
- Marketing background and affinity an asset.
- Experience with sports, culture and/or gaming marketing with an affinity towards these playgrounds an asset.
