  • Responding to telephone service requests in a fast paced environment on a queue; incoming calls
  • Electronic customer inquiries; Processing forms, applications and customer service requests emails
  • Setting up & maintaining customer accounts including various billing /payment programs
  • Researching, analyzing and providing resolution to customer billing complaints
  • Scheduling customer payment arrangements

PLEASE NOTE: This role involves upto 3 weeks of extensive training and 100% attendance is mandatory in order to proceed with opportunity.Qualifications:

  • Must be able to commute to office within Markham (nearest intersection; Warden Ave & Highway 7)
  • Must be able to work a minimum of 37.5 hours a week without attendance issues
  • Previous call center experience required.
  • Oracle or CRM software experience required
  • Punctuality and Attendance a must
  • Previous experience working in a utilities call center
  • Very fast paced environment and must be able to work under pressure
  • Understand call center protocols
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially with Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
  • Able to maintain a detail oriented and positive attitude when speaking with customers
