Pay: $45,000 – $48,000 annuallyWHAT WILL YOU DO?Specifically, the Career Services Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Developing external relationships to build job placements and leads to ensure students and graduates are informed of openings within their industry
- Develop and implement career development programs and workshops to enhance students’ job readiness skills, such as resume writing, interviewing techniques, and networking strategies.
- Provide individualized career advising sessions to students and alumni, assisting them in clarifying career goals, exploring job opportunities, and developing action plans.
- Coordinate career fairs, employer information sessions, and networking events to connect students with potential employers and industry professionals.
- Collaborate with academic departments and faculty to integrate career development activities into the curriculum and support students in exploring career options within their field of study.
- Maintain and update online resources, including job boards, internship databases, and career-related materials, to provide easy access to relevant information for students and alumni.
- Serve as a liaison between students, alumni, employers, and community partners to facilitate internship placements, job shadowing opportunities, and other experiential learning experiences.
- Collect and analyze data on student outcomes, employment trends, and employer feedback to assess the effectiveness of career services programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay current on industry trends, job market demands, and best practices in career development to provide up-to-date information and advice to students and alumni.
- Achieving the College’s targeted employment rates
- Supporting the administrative functions of the campus to enhance the student experience
- Acting in a manner that upholds the College standards

- Degree, diploma or certificate from a recognized University or College in a relevant discipline.
- One year of experience in a related field, such as recruitment or employment counselling or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Description
Electrical Estimator
Location: Calgary, AB
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year
Our client, a well-established electrical contractor, is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their team in Calgary, AB. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who has a passion for electrical estimating. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for projects ranging from commercial to industrial.
Responsibilities:
– Review bid documents, specifications, drawings, and other project requirements to develop accurate cost estimates
– Conduct site visits and liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to gather relevant information for estimates
– Prepare and submit bids in a timely manner
– Utilize estimating software to prepare detailed estimates
– Participate in project meetings and work closely with project managers during the construction process
– Maintain accurate records and documentation for all estimates
Qualifications:
– Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical estimating
– Proficiency with estimating software (Accubid, ConEst, etc.)
– Strong understanding of electrical systems and building codes
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
