  • Digital Privacy and Consent Leadership: Overseeing the bank’s adherence to data privacy and consent regulations and best practices across digital properties, including Bill 64, GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant legislation. Implementing, maintaining and monitoring technical solutions and platforms to meet the rigorous data privacy practices and ongoing governance for all trackable technologies including cookies, pixels, etc.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and enhance ongoing partnerships with enterprise programs, Privacy, Legal, Risk management and Technical teams to manage ongoing changes while overseeing the joint day-to-day implementation, maintenance and monitoring processes, investigations, etc.
  • Web analytics Implementation and troubleshooting: Develop and maintain custom JavaScript code for advanced tracking and reporting that meets CIBC digital privacy standards. Configure Adobe Launch, Adobe Experience Platform, and Google Tag Manager to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the consent management platform (CMP). Troubleshoot cookie compliance issues and variances, and implement technical solutions to ensure data integrity and data privacy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identifying ongoing opportunities for platform improvements and optimization in addressing Digital Privacy and Client Consent requirements, ongoing monitoring and controls, joint gating processes, etc. Anticipate upcoming regulatory changes and develop action plans to help the organization proactively adapt to these changes and stay current and track trends related to digital consent and data privacy. Upholding the bank’s commitment to data privacy and compliance. Promoting and solutioning for a ‘Privacy by Default’ Digital culture.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Technical, External Vendors, Privacy, Legal, Risk, and Enterprise Programs to achieve digital and compliance objectives. Effectively solution for Privacy requirements to actionable business and digital platforms and actions., investigating compliance deficiencies and implementing timely technical solutions and bug fixes.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate work experience in Consent Management Platform (OneTrust certification is an asset), Client Preference Centre for Marketing and Services, Agile Project Management, Digital and Marketing platforms and technologies, Financial Industry and/or Wealth knowledge. Bill 64 (Law 25), Bill 96, GDPR, CCPA, AdChoices.
