Responsibilities:What your day will look likeProject Management & Design

  • Manage air quality projects for facilities (including oil and gas, aggregate extraction and processing, power generation, industrial/manufacturing and municipal), transportation projects, Land Use Compatibility assessments, etc.
  • Provide technical support to junior-level staff on project work including monitoring, modelling, development of abatement strategies, and regulatory liaison.
  • Provide technical oversight and reviews of regulatory projects including Environmental Compliance Approvals (ECAs), Environmental Activity and Sector Registry (EASRs), and Environmental Assessments (EAs).

Business Development

  • Coordination and implementation of business development activities related to air quality services including identification of opportunities, proposal development and client liaison.
  • Work with client managers and business unit leads within Dillon’s business development and sales framework to identify, support and pursue air quality related opportunities.
  • Business travel upon request.

Qualifications:What you will need to succeed

  • A degree in environmental, chemical engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario.
  • 5+ years experience in environmental consulting or related experience in air quality.
  • Demonstrated relationship with local regulators (e.g. MECP) through project delivery.

Experience:

  • Experience in air quality related work is considered a must, including:
  • emission inventory development.
  • emission estimates.
  • dispersion modelling (AERMOD, CALPUFF, CALRoads).
  • regulatory reporting.
  • An understanding of federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations pertaining to air quality.

The VCA team is looking for a Senior Manager to join our Product Experience Design (PxD) and Digital consulting practice and play a role in developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in the North America region. The potential candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions with Issuers, Merchants, and Co-Brand Partners. This person will develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both, the preferred brand and unique business partner.
Potential engagements could include digital customer experience assessments, product development, program launch, customer acquisition (digital and in-branch), customer and merchant life cycle optimization, retention enhancement, benchmark analysis, profitability enhancement.
