On the Product Factory team, you will innovate, develop and support our growing asset called Health Connect. The Health Connect offering is designed to empower health authorities and health care providers to transform public health systems. In this role, the expected qualifications are:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program, graduating in 2022, pursuing Computer Science, IT Management, Information Management, Marketing, Business Technology, or other relevant degree.
  • Digital Customer – working in an Agile environment (SAFe preferred), Salesforce products, data modelling, integration, Apex (Front-End/Back-End), Visualforce (Front-End), SOQL (Back-End), Ava (Front-End), Enterprise Content Management (OpenText, Office365, SharePoint), Information Management and Records Management.
  • Advertising, Marketing & Commerce: Brand Strategy, Advertising Services, Marketing & Digital Strategy, Marketing Enablement, Customer Insights, eCommerce, Advertising & Marketing Technologies (i.e., Adobe products, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Marketing Platform etc.), Marketing Analytics, Customer Experience, Operations
  • Product Factory: Technical problem-solving skills, analytical skills, understanding of software development and/or configuration principles, manual testing, and automation testing tools (e.g. Selenium, python etc).
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with creative ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions. French and English language working proficiency is required for placement at the Montreal office.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.
  • Employees may be required to obtain “reliability” and/or “Secret” level federal security clearances as a condition of their employment. To be eligible for a “Reliability” status you must have resided in Canada for the last five (5) years and for “Secret” level, the last ten (10) years.

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree program, graduating by September 2022, pursuing Computer Science, IT Management, Information Management, Marketing, Business Technology, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Digital Product Design, Web Design, Industrial design, Business, Commerce, Sociology, Consumer Behaviour, or other relevant degree.
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with creative ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions. French and English language working proficiency is required for placement at the Montreal office.
  • Legally eligible to work in Canada and able to enter the USA to work on client assignments.
  • Front End Engineering – you are passionate about technology; you have experience with Angular, React, React Native, IOS, Android, AR/VR, Node.js or other development languages/frameworks; you are interested in working with our clients to bring the human experience to life; you are excited to leverage design and research to build products that provide great customer experiences. You are self-motivated to learn and improve your technical and functional skills.
  • Product Delivery – you will be a part of a cross functional team of designers, developers, product specialists, and industry experts. You will be involved in discovery and elaboration of product design and features with clients, creation of user stories and specifications to define new products features, leading scrums and other delivery activities in the product development process. Your attention to detail, ability to conceptualize new customer centric features, and strong communication skills will serve you well in interacting frequently with senior level internal and external clients and firm leadership. Your prior experiences and educational background will allow you to understand and utilize our processes for product management and SAFE agile delivery at scale. You are a self-motivated individual who adopts a continuous learning approach to both your functional and technical skills to keep ahead of the changing digital ecosystem.
  • Experience Design – you have experience with the end-to-end iterative UX/UI design process including problem framing, wireframing, prototyping and/or visual design. You have experience applying user-centered design processes while working in cross functional teams. You have strong communication skills and your ability for storytelling helps your team and stakeholders understand the “why” behind your design rationale. You are collaborative, curious and have deep empathy for the end user. You have a portfolio or case study demonstrating your UX/UI skills (a portfolio or case study submission is required for consideration).
  • Customer & Digital Strategy – you have a keen interest in user research, customer and digital strategy, rapid prototyping/concept design, or human-centered design. You also have strong written and spoken communication skills and can develop research and insights into design or strategic recommendations that have a clear link to organizational strategy or business case. Nice-to-have: you are aware of and advocate for the importance of inclusion and equity in the design process with your team.

What You’ll Be Doing

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Content, the Digital Content Lead will be responsible for developing, writing, editing and proofreading content intended for the Digital Business Banking’s web, mobile and related materials. This role will help create and maintain editorial standards, ensuring a consistent and client-friendly tone of voice. The Digital Content Lead will work as part of collaborative, cross-functional teams (e.g. Design, Marketing, Product, Technology etc.) to effectively deliver a cohesive and compelling user experience, and to ensure timely delivery of accurate and concise content. The position will also support the coordination of French translations, editorial reviews and approvals by stakeholders. The ideal candidate must be able to work within tight deadlines, have strong attention to detail and exceptional interpersonal skills.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Content Development – Write, edit and proofread online and offline materials (e.g. screen content, user guides, video scripts etc.) related to our digital platforms, while adhering to CIBC brand standards, accessibility guidelines and cross-site consistency.
  • Content Management – Manage and support the end-to-end process for writing and delivering content materials and client communications, which includes the management and coordination of French translations, editorial review and approvals by stakeholders.
  • Project Delivery – Implement and execute the content component of all projects by working collaboratively with key team members (e.g. Design, Business Analysts, Product Development, Marketing & QA) within an agile/iterative design & development environment where timely delivery of content deliverables is critical.
  • Relationship Building – Build and manage complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring all partners and stakeholders (e.g. Segment Teams, Product, Legal and Compliance, Translation Vendors, etc.) are appropriately engaged and updated on all content-related deliverables.
  • Digital Content Design & Strategy – Contribute and support our content strategy by taking an active role in identifying site improvements, recommending strategic content placement and delivering a cohesive and compelling experience to our clients.

Who You Are

  • You have a degree/diploma in English, Journalism or Communications with 3-5 years’ experience in a writing/editorial environment, preferably in the digital technical writing area
  • You can demonstrate significant experience in managing and executing end-to-end, editorial content delivery. It’s an asset if you have experience in inclusive designs and knowledge in accessibility standards.
