  • Advocate for the sports fan from die-hard to casual. You are the voice of our user within the organization and advocate for creating digital experiences that maximize user value
  • Serve as internal product expert on Video, Audio and Written products and experiences including websites, apps, IPTV products, OTT/DTC products and any future digital product offerings
  • Lead the product development lifecycle and create wildly engaging and immersive digital experiences that are scalable, stable and grow user engagement around our content and brand
  • Closely monitor market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activities in the leading space
  • Rigorously use product analytics to uncover insights that drive product adoption and evolution

The Associate Director will provide technical direction for marketing technology systems, and drive marketing innovation with our clients by bringing forward new and creative ideas to solve current and future industry challenges.

You are a curious, detailed analytical thinker who understands how systems and data integrate to drive marketing and business results. You are comfortable with design-thinking and skilled with leading discovery sessions and client presentations. Staying current with new and next concepts to develop thought-leadership POV’s is second nature, and getting tactical with intricate details is not a chore.

This role will create an opportunity for a driven, passionate, and innovative consultant to shape Cardinal Path’s service offering and approach to Digital Transformation client strategy. The work is varied, challenging, and you must enjoy and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

Evaluate the client’s technical infrastructure and approach to data, activation, technology, and delivery process, and identify opportunities for evolving the platform to improve operational efficiency

Provide deep domain expertise in our client’s First-Party Data, Identity, Privacy, Audience Management, and Technology Stack to create new revenue streams and customer value

Develop technical strategic roadmaps and support clients on their prioritized path to transformation

Act as the primary liaison with IT, Marketing Operations, and external marketing technology service providers

Collaborate with engineering, data science, and analysis & implementation teams to develop comprehensive Digital Transformation solutions that align with client’s data strategy and progress digital maturity.

Deliver vendor analysis and recommendations across the technology and data partner stack (CDP, DMP, Safe-Haven/Data Clean Rooms, BtB/BtC partners, data brokers, consent management, personalization, and related technology/data vendors)

Integrate strategies across Cardinal Path delivery teams and Dentsu partner agencies for a holistic solution approach (data, analytics, media, activation, and measurement)

Research emerging data and technology industry trends to improve the Digital Transformation framework, and educate internal teams

Publish blog posts and whitepapers emerging industry trends and experienced POVs

Estimated 25% business development, 50% consulting, and 25% thought leadership/practice development time allocation

Qualifications

You have 5+ years of relevant solution design experience in selecting, implementing, and/or managing new marketing technologies, data, or analytic solutions

At least 2 years experience as a client-facing consultant (project and/or management)

In-depth understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem like web analytics, Identity Resolution, Consent Management Platforms, CRM, CDP, Marketing Automation, Campaign Management, Search, ESP, Ad Servers, DMPs, DSPs, and audience targeting tools.

Hands on experience designing and executing integrated solutions of marketing systems with platform partners (i.e., Google, Adobe, LiveRamp, Merkury, Salesforce and Tealium) and other enterprise systems.

Possess extensive knowledge of web technologies (HTML, Javascript, Data Layers, etc.), integration methods and technologies, and the ability to read and write SQL.

Strong understanding of holistic enterprise architecture and the interplay of analytical tools, enterprise infrastructure, APIs, and cloud technologies.

Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams/clients to develop solution designs and requirements

Excellent storytelling, presentation, and communication skills

A degree in engineering, computer science, analytics, or related field is preferred
