- Craft the overall user experience strategy, design system, and content architecture for the site
- Oversee a complete overhaul of site journeys and navigation
- Create end-to-end designs including low-fidelity user interface sketches/wireframes through to high-fidelity pixel perfect visual design mockups and prototypes
- Monitor analytics on user behaviour and site performance, continuously seeking opportunities to deliver a superior and higher converting experience
- Develop a proficient understanding of StickerYou’s products, customers and competition by leading and participating in user research, competitive analysis and other design thinking activities
- Apply user-centered design best practices and methodologies as well as mobile-first/responsive design thinking
- Work within tight deadlines without compromising quality
- This is an Individual contributor role that works closely with and helps coordinate the activities of members of several other teams
What you bring to the team:
- 5+ years in UX Design, Digital Product Design or Visual/UI design. (ideally not with a primary focus on mobile)
- A strong portfolio of projects which demonstrate creative, user-centered design solutions to complex problems, especially in an e-commerce context
- Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in Design, User Experience or a related field
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to take responsibility for design of solutions from concept to completion
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across departments
- Proficient and effective use of industry-standard UX and UI design tools, including Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite and XD and UXPin
- Understanding of HTML/CSS/JS capabilities and limitations
- Knowledge of printing industry considered an asset
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field is an asset
