  • Assist with the implementation of various environmental field programs.
  • Inspect, monitor, and conduct environmental field activities, including water management, erosion and sediment control, dust management, noise monitoring, environmental sample collection (soil, water), and environmental emergency response (spills).
  • Create daily dust management plans, daily dust logs, daily environmental inspection logs, maintain a key environmental issues tracking log, and handle spill reporting.
  • Record key environmental field data.
  • Occasionally assist with ESC installation, replace dust station batteries, move environmental monitoring equipment, and respond to spills.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Environmental Lead/Environmental Manager.

What you’ll bring to WSP:

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related fields (preferred) or a college diploma/certificate in environmental science with the right skillset.
  • You can multitask and prioritize evolving requirements for multiple ongoing projects.
  • You are capable of working in a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
  • You have demonstrated technical writing and critical thinking skills.
  • You are team-oriented and possess strong communication skills.
  • You pay attention to detail.
