Job description: The Registered Dietitian (RD) functions as a valuable member of the interdisciplinary team and provides nutritional care to children and adolescents with complex mental health and medical issues related to a range of eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa and other specified feeding or eating disorders . The RD will work in a health care setting that fosters collaboration, recognizes the value of all disciplines and team members, and ensures a culture of self development and learning to ensure the most appropriate delivery of care to all patients and their families. As a member of the interdisciplinary team of clinicians the RD will attend rounds, participate in leading/ co-leading group activities, communicate with families and caregivers, liaise with community resources as required as well as manage issues related to nutritional health. The Dietitian will participate in student education, as appropriate, including the training of dietetic interns.
