The responsibilities of the role will include:Supporting the Manager and senior management in servicing overall operations with minimal supervision.
Validating the data input, ensuring that all relevant information has been obtained, and local routing requirements are met.
Participating in the settlement process of spot and forward orders adhering to specific client details in an efficient and accurate manner.
Overseeing the beneficiary creation and validation process supporting outbound settlements of all global currencies (Majors, Minors, Exotics) across all delivery channels (Wire, ACH, EFT, Cheque)
Ensuring funds reach our global clients and beneficiaries in a timely manner with the highest degree of data accuracy and confidentiality.
Working closely with internal business units to improve service delivery and workflow efficiency.
Maintaining strong working relationships with our banking partners.
Training and supporting associates on a continuous basis.Providing training and understanding on various aspects to other team members.Providing ideas & areas of improvement for further improving the processing standard, providing weekly & monthly MIS.
Complying with all applicable policies, standards, guidelines, and controls; and
Ad Hoc projects as requested.Qualifications & SkillsDegree/ Diploma in Business, Finance, or related field.
Relevant full-time work experience, ideally in operational roles within fintech’s, banks or other financial services companies.
Exposure to and understanding of global payment formatting requirements (major, minor, and exotic markets) 3 + years of previous supervisor or managerial experience.
Strong leadership skills; organizational and administrative skills.Ability to organize, plan and schedule activities and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills and comfort in dealing with individuals across all levels of the organization.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook).

- Design and evaluate campaign experiments and interpreting results to drive business impact
- Experience working with cross-functional partners across data, marketing, product, and digital Interact with RBC internal partners and lines of businesses to gather requirements, help them frame their use cases and work with the senior Measurement & Analytics team members to design and propose solutions.
- Assist in researching new capabilities and technologies to drive innovation
What do you need to succeed?Must-have:
- Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, statistics. preferably in third year or master’s degree study.
- Strong Programming skills in Python or similar programming languages
- Experience or understanding of Relational Database (and SQL), and data visualization tools.
- Experience with data transformation, manipulation and diagnostic data analytics
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to details and a passion for data-driven decision making.
- Basic understanding of machine learning models and its applications
- A curiosity and passion for continuous learning and helping others
- Excellent teamwork, communication and collaboration skills
Nice to have:
- Working knowledge in building statistical and algorithmic models including but not limited to supervised statistical learning, clustering, natural language processing, recommendation systems, times-series analysis
- Familiarity with advanced testing methodologies (e.g., uplift modelling, Bayesian methods, contextual bandits)
- Knowledge of public cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, OpenShift or equivalent) platforms and development of applications in them
- Experience with big data processes (Spark) including batch processing
- Experience with common machine learning/deep learning libraries Tensorflow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Huggingface etc.
- Experience in financial services industry with broad understanding of marketing, product management, sales, finance, pricing or risk management is an asset
