Position Overview:

As the PR & Integrated Retail Marketing Co-op, your world will be all about working with the team to create integrated marketing plans and focusing on their execution in store and online for our key retail partners. You will gain a deep understanding of the full spectrum of marketing and communications tools a brand can use to engage and connect with customers to drive sales and brand affinity.

Specifically, you’ll be responsible for creating campaigns for our retail partners to launch new products in the market either through paid, earned or integrated media strategies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

In-Store Retail Marketing

  • Align with sales (national account managers) to determine in store display needs for key retail partners
  • Partner with internal teams to confirm existing display availability, working with external agency partners to rework or build new displays for our Canadian retail partners to ensure that we are launching products with excellence
  • Review creative elements to ensure relevancy to local market and consumer needs
  • Responsible for budget tracking and supplier management

Digital Retail Marketing

  • Support internal team to create bespoke content to drive awareness of key commercially relevant products to partner stores
  • Participate and provide input into sales conversations with accounts to highlight digital support and identify KPIs
  • Identify top influencers who can drive storytelling, create content and provide brand advocacy on their handles as well as content we can leverage for SN social
  • Content Creation & Management
  • Partnering with the PR agency to help provide written and visual content for the web posts, scripts, guides, newsletters, and social channels representing the voice of the brand to the customer
  • Work with internal teams to package and deliver stories in a format that meets business needs for the website or our social channels
  • Creating and implementing a strategic content calendar for the brand Tips & Tricks and email newsletters
  • Managing library of educational assets including guides, eBooks, and checklists -working with internal teams to help expose these assets to relevant audiences
  • Work with internal and external creative teams for asset adaptation for the French Canada market
  • Analyze content performance and provide ideas on maximizing content impact

Social Media Support

  • Create, curate, and assist with publishing content on Facebook & Instagram
  • Work with PR firm on press highlights and influencer support
  • Monitor social properties for engagement

Education and Experience:

  • Working towards a degree, diploma or certificate in: Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or Business
  • Familiarity with Office (Word, Excel, PPT) and Adobe Suite
  • Proven understanding and experience working around marketing strategy and execution
