- Build and deliver on an annual social strategy that inspires, engages, and drives awareness
- Develop content calendar, owning scheduling / publishing of daily content per channel
- Partner closely with our brand ambassadors for relevant content and storytelling moments
- Act as channel owner for all social media channels
- Write creative briefs that give clear direction to our internal copy and design team
- Participate in seasonal asset planning to ensure that unique content needs / opportunities for social are captured
- Create and curate content, including photos, made-for-social graphics, post copy, video, UGC content, and more
- Play a key role in our influencer marketing efforts, including identifying brand-right influencers, relationship building, reposting content and engaging with influencer posts
- Own weekly / monthly / quarterly reporting on KPIs, including follower growth targets, engagement and traffic
- Own all social listening efforts, including hashtag monitoring, managing social media crises, and identifying real-time marketing opportunities
- Guide best practices for our social and conduct and present competitive research to inform our channel strategies
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a specialized social media role, managing and growing social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube.
- Proficiency with Mailchimp, Canva, Slack, Asana
- Enthusiasm for gardening is a plus
- Proven experience developing impactful social media strategies
- A social media junkie-authentically passionate about the field of social media and tapped into emerging channels and trends
- A great communicator with an ability to write excellent copy and communicate with ease
- Highly creative — known for your stand-out ideas that cut through the noise
- Flexible and agile with a desire to work in a startup environment
- Highly organized with an ability to manage content strategies across channels
- Comfortable working with data, identifying meaningful trends, and turning them into action

About You
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to join our Data and Decision Science team. You will be a valued advisor responsible for uncovering insights around owned/earned social reporting, audience segmentation, social listening, survey data, behavioural data, customer database analytics, marketing consulting services and other general digital media analytics. You identify new mixed methodologies and tools to collect and analyze audiences and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary research using both qualitative and quantitative methods (including social listening, surveys, focus groups, etc.)
- Own reporting and data management of ongoing digital, social and creative programs
- Work closely with the account service, creative teams and vendors
- Present reports and other materials to clients on a regular basis
- Use social and behavioural sciences to create models of behaviour and inform audience strategy and tactics
- Provide integrated, analytic marketing solutions to improve client decision-making
- Design and conduct informative and actionable analysis
- Develop marketing and educational strategies based on insights
- Track marketplace, technology and consumer trends
- Keeping a pulse on the industry and building up knowledge of business strategy issues
- Lead post-campaign analysis and reporting, determines the effectiveness of strategic approach, and identifies implications for future efforts
- Organize, prioritize and perform multiple tasks under pressure and often tight deadlines
- Manages up and keeps supervisor in the loop in order to advise, as needed
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Business or Marketing, Communications, or related field (Masters or PhD is a plus)
- Minimum 2-5 year of experience online media/digital advertising analytics, research or similar fields
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience working in a market research, PR or advertising agency environment
- Experience with social conversation and listening tools (e.g., Pulsar, Crimson Hexagon, Brandwatch, Netbase, Quid, Trendkite, etc)
- Experience working in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industries
- Able to merge qualitative and quantitative data to devise insight-based campaign decisions, both strategic and tactical
- Solid research skills and proven data interpretation capabilities
- Experience in translating data and research into strategic insights and recommendations
- Well versed in paid social, display and search, and web analytics
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience using analytics software such as Google Analytics
