The successful candidate will be responsible for several important deliverables in the River Class Destroyer Program
Responsibilities will include:Ensuring accurate records are kept and that all materials movements are adequately tracked in the Lockheed Martin systems of record.Ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient flow of information, goods, and services between point of origin through to the customer in order to meet contract requirements. * Ensuring that customer service and time objectives are achieved within existing financial constraints in order to meet project objectives.Establishing relationships with Customers, Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders in order to ensure that project the objectives are achieved.Ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions.Participate in the continuous improvement of the supply chain, including the elimination of waste and the reduction of costs.What you bring to the roleBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong data management skills, expertise in managing data in databases and spreadsheets.Proficiency in MRP systems, familiarity with SAP is an advantageKnowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.DisciplineLogisticsAbout usLockheed Martin Canada is the Canadian-based arm of Lockheed Martin Corporation, a global security and aerospace company employing 115,000 people worldwide, including more than 1,300 Canadians.
