Job description: Junior Human Resources Generalist – Contract – 17582About the OpportunityOur private sector client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Human Resources Generalist to join their team on a 4-month contract (onsite/full-time required). This role offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience across multiple HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, onboarding, and compliance.Duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with full-cycle recruitment, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Support the employee onboarding process and ensure new hires are smoothly integrated into the company
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
• Assist with benefits administration and payroll support
• Help with employee relations, responding to basic inquiries and helping to resolve employee issues
• Assist with the organization of performance reviews and related documentation
• Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Coordinate training sessions and team-building activities
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 1-2 years of HR experience or relevant internship
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and MS Office applications
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• Basic knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices is an asset
