  • Design owned content for ecobee social channels and company blog
  • Manage, grow, and cultivate ecobee’s owned social media channels (primary: Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
  • Cultivate communities and create posts that spark conversation and interest
  • Have a keen eye for cultural moments that are relevant to ecobee and how we can join the conversation with our loyal customers
  • Lead and manage partnerships with agencies to drive impactful UGC and influencer marketing campaigns, aligning with brand goals and maximizing engagement across social platforms
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks, projects, and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and achieving strategic objectives
  • Create a captivating ecobee owned content calendar, including designing graphics, writing captions, filming/editing video on and off-site, and writing/editing/publishing blog posts
  • Partner with brand managers, creatives, and cross-functional stakeholders on look, feel, and tone of ecobee’s social and owned content presence
  • Be comfortable in front of a camera, interviewing other people, and creating content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
  • Work with Customer Support to provide memorable care to ecobee Smart Owners via social media community management
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Communications, Marketing Communications, and Creative teams internally, as well as the Generac Communications and Social teams, to ensure plans are integrated and amplified through relevant channels
  • Analyze, review, and report on results to set targets, make recommendations for future campaigns, and inform strategy

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • 4+ years of comprehensive social media experience in a corporate or agency environment
  • An educational background in marketing, communications, journalism, writing, or related field
  • Excellent communications (written and verbal), content creation (still and video), and organizational skills
  • Experience using Canva, Adobe suite, video editing software, various social channels, and Sprout Social effectively
  • Passion for analytics and diving deep into data to influence strategy
