Job description: Job Description Summary The Wind Technician position requires local travel within the hub. The Wind Technician is a critical and active role to maintain optimal function and output at the wind site by working daily on turbine operations, safety, quality control and warranty repair(s). The Wind Technician partners and communicates with the Site Lead and Manager to execute on contract requirements and timelines and ensures alignment with GE excellence!Job DescriptionPlease note: This is not a remote position. The work location for this position includes all wind sites within Hub ON1 in the Raliegh/Chatam ON area. You are expected to work at all sites within this Hub and report to work at any site within this Hub as assigned by your manager. Relocation to the area is required.Roles and Responsibilities:Responsible for Mechanical disassembly, inspection and assembly of Wind Gearboxes. You will report to the Shop Operations Leader.In addition you will:Exchange Bearings and gears as per engineering drawings and remanufacturing specificationsBe able to perform standard mechanical assembly procedures, perform rework, and repair of gearbox components and systems to drawing specifications Downtower in the repair shop or Uptower in the Wind Turbine.Repair and Assembly of WTG 750KW, -5/-6MW and -x MW turbines.Maintain proper handling of GE tools and equipment.Occasionally required to work in tight areas, ladders, scissor lift, greater than 4m high off ground.Occasionally required to perform repair operations uptowerPossess thorough knowledge and ability to use all tools associated with assembling units according to required specifications:lifting equipment, wall and overhead cranesHydraulic and electric Torque toolsSpecific hydraulic pullers for disassembly operationsOther Tools included but not limited to impact drills, magnetic drills, drill press, angle grinders, sanders, basic hand tools (manual and pneumatic)Measurement Tools, calibers, oil flushing equipment.Read and understand mechanical layout, engineering drawingsFollow all EH&S guidelines and policiesFollow good environmental practices and waste management procedures. Segregate waste in the pertinent containers at the Repair Hall.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED, and1+ year(s) experience as a Wind Technician/Wind Mechanic, orCompleted Wind Certificate Program/Associates orPost-Secondary Degree in Energy, or equivalent mechanical or electrical work experience, andPassing a Technical Knowledge Assessment, andBasic computer skillsDesired CharacteristicsCertified in the use of lifting equipment, such as overhead and wall cranes, as well as lifting methods and practices by using appropriate slings, chains, hooks, etc..Trained on Bearings assembly practices, including clearance and preload calculation.Trained in the use of sealing and adhesives for bearings assemblyTrained in hoses manufacturing and testing.Training on tightening practices and tools.Ability to read, understand and follow mechanical and electrical engineering drawingsSelf-motivated to work with minimal guidance and willingness to learn from othersAbility and Willingness to work at heights and confined spaces, repairing gearboxes uptower in the Nacelle enclosure if requiredAbility and willingness to work various shifts and overtime on short notice, in order to meet business needsAbility to follow instructions and be willing to work outside under adverse weather conditionsExperience working in a Wind Gearbox Repair Shop is a plus#LI-AP3Additional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: Yes

Primary Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Support market segmentation and opportunity development activities

- Develop marketing plans to drive qualified leads to Greensaver’s multiple conservation programs
- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idea to execution (online & offline)
- Build strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, agencies and vendors
Brand & Buzz
- Develop the Greensaver brand including strategies and tactics to build brand equity in the industry
- Manage content team to produce on-brand content for our website, social media, and other channels
- Execute external program branding deliverables (design, collateral, content, etc.) upon clients’ request
- Oversee the work of external vendors or contractors (e.g. graphic designers, printers, web developers, etc.) and ensure deliverables are kept within scope, on time, and on budget
Program Tracking, Analytics & Reporting
- Create, measure and report performance of marketing campaigns; gain insight and assess against goals
- Analyze current market conditions to identify potential for new program participants
- Track leading KPIs using our CRM to optimize team resources and workflow efficiency
Team Management
- Provide leadership for the marketing team
- Work with the team to develop objectives and KPIs for performance management and development
- Meet with team regularly to ensure consistency and workflow alignment
- Motivate the team to ensure a high level of work quality and team dynamic
- Manage relevant aspects of the marketing budget
Other requirements and responsibilities in line with organizational need.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field
- 7+ years marketing experience
- 3+ years in a managerial role, managing staff and performance
- Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading cross-channel marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Ability to adhere to brand standards and ensure its adherence by the rest of the organization
- Ability to manage budgets
- Experience launching and maintaining digital marketing campaigns (social – fb ads manager, google search etc.)
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends, etc.)
- Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords & Banner campaigns
- Experience with Client Relationship Management (CRM) (Systems such as Salesforce / Insightly)
- Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
- Creativity and adaptability, research, quantitative analysis, writing, public speaking, presentation
- Interpersonal: Leadership, people management, collaboration, detail-oriented
