Who we need

Our new Sr. HR Business Partner will report directly to the CEO and founder and be the person responsible for creating, developing and implementing enhanced organizational structure and human resource programs to support our rapidly evolving business objectives and growth plans. A major focus of this role will be to promote our values (Customer Obsessed, No Shortcuts, One Team) and nurture a culture that supports them.

Our People and Culture Manager role will appeal to a business oriented HR generalist interested in supporting employee engagement and performance through the full spectrum of recruitment, on-boarding, talent development, performance management, compensation, communications, culture and organizational design..

What you’ll do:

  • Policies and Programs – Develop best-in-class HR programs to support the development of a performance-based culture, engagement of employees and the achievement of business objectives
  • Organizational Management – Develop role & scope of responsibility documentation and support development of cross-functional project teams, career management and succession planning
  • Recruitment & On-boarding – Define resource plans and support hiring managers in recruiting directly or by working with external resources.
  • Communications – Ensure employment branding and key messaging aligns with corporate marketing
  • Performance Management – Lead performance appraisal and management process, develop training plans and support career development and retention of resources critical to achieving our business objectives
  • Compensation Programs – formalize salary, benefits and variable compensation plans and conduct competitive market analysis to support the annual review process.

What you’ll bring:

  • University Degree with a focus on Business and Human Resources
  • 5 years of practical experience showing a progression of responsibilities and a track record of adding value in a small or mid-sized technology focused company.
  • Good understanding of the current employment market and recruiting best practices
  • Experience developing and implementing variable compensation and equity programs
  • Experience developing and supporting remote work policies
  • A passion for the impact HR can have on the business and its employees
  • A set of values that aligns with ours.
  • Experience working closely with senior leaders as a catalyst for positive interdepartmental dynamics at the leadership and employee level
  • Ability to leverage HRIS and ATS tools like BambooHR, JazzHR, Plum to automate/track HR processes.

As the Social Media Specialist at Thinkific, you are just as comfortable outlining a social plan as you are rolling up your sleeves to dive into content creation. Working alongside the Senior Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and publishing content to grow Thinkific’s voice on our social media channels and online communities. You know how to craft compelling and unique content customized for each platform that engages and inspires an audience.


In this role, you will:

  • Plan and maintain a social content calendar, posting across YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, and any new emerging and relevant networks.
  • Create, edit, and publish content on multiple social channels, ensuring quality standards are met with creative and optimized copy
  • Engage and manage comments from our community across organic and paid social posts, fostering continued conversations
  • Engage in social listening to identify and respond to conversations where there is a natural tie in to build relationships
  • Coordinate with industry influencers and partners to optimize our social reach and engagement
  • Report on the ROI and success of each social media platform and their respective engagement of users by leveraging analytics
  • Wear your conversion optimization hat to test and optimize social messages to drive conversions and outcomes that are aligned with our company goals

To be successful in this role, you likely:

  • Have 2+ years of experience working as a social media coordinator and are looking to take your career to the next level
  • Have a strong understanding of best practices across all social media platforms, and enjoy crafting content and posts for all social platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Can demonstrate experience with live streaming tools and are comfortable with being a guest on livestreams and podcasts
  • Have past (and successful!) experience executing social media marketing and running marketing campaigns for a SaaS company
