General Accountabilities:
- Project Delivery: Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards for clients.
- Team Leadership: Lead, guide, train, and mentor field and coordination staff.
- Financial Management: Provide accurate financial reports for project performance, including cost and revenue forecasting, accruals, billing, receivables and payables management, and working capital management.
- Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage schedules, resource plans, procurement, project commissioning, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Cost Control: Implement best practices and standard processes to control costs and maximize productivity.
- Communication: Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communications, both formal and informal.
- Client Relations: Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns.
- Subcontractor Management: Develop relationships with subcontractors to build a pool of resources; manage a selection of subcontracts for projects, where required.
- Risk Management: Proactively assess risks; ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Business Development: Develop customer relationships supporting further business development.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous and progressive experience as a Project Manager in the integrated security and/or low voltage industry. Applicants from related industries (e.g., Telecommunications, IT) are also considered.
- Project Management: Experience managing large construction projects is preferred.
- Sales and Estimating: Previous sales, estimating, or design experience is a bonus.
- Education: Post-secondary education from an engineering technology program (e.g., controls and instrumentation, electronics, electrical) is considered an asset.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software.
- Independence: Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadlines.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license with an acceptable record; minimum 5 years driving experience.
- Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is considered an asset.
