Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Support in driving business outcomes for the client through analytics.

  • Leverage GA360 to better understand full funnel attribution and better allocate millions of dollars.

  • Audience Activation

  • Partner with the client to identify key GA360 audiences to activate against.

  • Multitouch Attribution

  • Evaluate the differences between last click and MTA attribution Upper funnel VS Lower funnel, etc.

  • Recommend testing scenarios to improve budget spend based on MTA observations

  • Identify platform enhancements in support of MTA provide recommendations on how to operationalize

  • Cross channel budget allocation

  • Strategy and planning work

  • Work with Strategic liaison to build monthly and yearly strategy

  • Help find valuable long term Media partners

  • Build annual plans with key media partners

Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelor s degree, or equivalent

  • 7 years work experience, in marketing, business, economics, or technical specialty

  • 5 years of Budget allocation and strategy planning

  • Experienced with Digital Marketing, Attribution Models and Audience strategy

  • Experienced with Data Strategy, Data Analytics and Interpretation

Typical Work Day at theScore:

  • Develop a deep understanding of how users interact with theScore’s apps and websites.
  • Answer ad-hoc questions & requests by leveraging data available in SQL databases.
  • Leverage marketing analytics tools (e.g. Branch, Appsflyer, Optimove, Sensor Tower) to provide insights.
  • Monitor and report on all marketing KPIs and investigate anomalies as they arise.
  • Analyze and compare quality of paid acquisition and CRM campaigns for media & betting apps.
  • Analyze results of betting promotions and recommend improvements & optimizations.
  • Design, create, execute and measure results from multivariate testing related to marketing activities.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in media, sports betting, analytics & marketing industries.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or related field.
  • 2+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of analytics tools such as, but not limited to:
    Amplitude, Periscope, Sisense, Branch, AppsFlyer, Sensor Tower, Google Analytics.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Familiarity with analysis tools; R or Python packages are preferred.
  • A passion and curiosity for solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
  • Ability to take complex data and present it in a clear and simple manner.
  • Ability to focus in a fast paced environment and multitask.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role focuses on personalized solutions to create relevant, targeted experience for our clients as they engage with our websites and mobile apps – based on continuous experiments. The Optimization Analyst will be accountable for recommending, influencing, and implementing digital channel personalization & testing opportunities based on data driven insights. As a subject matter expert, you will work in an agile environment with a cross-functional team to support marketing campaign sprint cycles with the focus on achieving key performance targets. You’ll track your work after launch with an iterative test, learn and optimize approach and continue to bring forward emerging machine learning trends and recommended tactics.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Customer Centric – You will be responsible for understanding key customer journeys and segments across digital channels to provide recommendations on how to optimize the customer experience and drive sales.
  • Analytical Thinking – You are comfortable pulling analytics from data visualization platforms. You will be accountable for providing ongoing and final campaign test reports to key stakeholders, and maintaining a test library.
  • Technical Expertise: You have a working knowledge of marketing optimization tools and are proficient in using them to drive owned onsite digital campaign performance.
