What is the role?
The Marketing Coordinator & Assistant to CEO role provides support to the CEO, Marketing Consultant, VP Sales, and creative services team primarily for content development and curation for marketing materials and marketing campaigns via web, email, social, blog and other media.
What will you do?
Content Development – 70%
- Play a meaningful role in articulation of company product and service lines, and value propositions to for web and company presentations
- Create and curate web, email and social media content to support campaign specific initiatives
- Manage campaigns for TPS’s various platforms including: web, blog, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram to grow TPS’s social media presence and drive lead generation. Provide unique execution for each platform as appropriate for different campaigns, tailoring messaging and imagery to best suit the various social media channels
Various Client and Admin Support – 30%
- Assisting VP Sales and Account Management team with client specific marketing initiatives
What will you need to succeed?
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program with a focus in marketing, business, creative writing, or a comparable program
- Demonstrated experience creating and curating content and copy for business, preferably in a B2B context
- Experience utilizing social media, preferably in a B2B context
- Creative content curation, copywriting or creative writing ability, with exceptional English writing skills
- Social Media marketing experience
- Open-minded, and prepared to interpret creative briefs and respond well to constructive feedback
- Eager to learn, can follow direction, are willing to ask clarifying questions while participating in team/creative discussions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Team player with exceptional customer service ethic and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage tasks in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure and respond to urgent requests in a positive manner
Nice to Have:
- Promotional products or related experience
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- Digital Media design experience
- Proficiency with photography in a studio environment (portfolio)
