Our expectations:
The candidate is expected to understand the CHT process from CAD to Solver. Current fuel nozzle analysis process is time consuming, error-prone, and cannot accurately predict medal temperatures. The purpose of the assignment is to determine if nozzle temperatures could be predicted using CFD/CHT analysis.
CFD/CHT models for various legacy nozzles will be created and calibrated using existing thermal survey data. The new process will be documented for inclusion in knowledge documents.
What your day to day will look like:
Develop a good understanding of what is involved in the CHT process.
Interact with supervisor and supporting team members for guidance
Perform the required analysis
Provide weekly reports to supervisor
Prepare presentations of progress and milestones
What you need to be successful:
Must haves:
Be eligible to work in Canada
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable
Strong programming skills
Pursuing a degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace engineering
Advanced English proficiency required (written and spoken)
