These goals will be accomplished by working with the relationship managers, portfolio services groups, legal, finance and other Fidelity counterparts. The operations group is responsible for running the day-to-day management operations of Fidelity Private Wealth. A core objective of this role is to increase the control, efficiency, and consistency of private wealth operations.Success in this role requires collaboration with business partners and a focus on process improvements. The successful candidate requires exceptional business acumen paired with strong analytical/communication skills to help facilitate the development and adoption of effective solutions for the wealth management business.How You’ll Make an ImpactClient SupportProvide active support to the client-facing team by providing client onboarding support and resolving issues throughout the client lifecycle.Act as a critical bridge between back office, client-facing teams, compliance, and portfolio management teams.Assist with the generation of recurring client-facing reports, including quarterly statements, CRM2, and tax packages.Become a subject matter expert (SME) on internal systems, such as advisor platforms, Salesforce, and other tools.Provide support for internal process tracking, issue resolution, and escalations for Relationship Managers and client-facing teams.Process ImprovementDrive process improvement initiatives within the Private Wealth business, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and eliminating waste.Support the development and documentation of end-to-end operational workflows.Collaborate on the agile integration of new technology solutions.Data ManagementEnsure the integrity and accuracy of data across internal systems such as the CRM platform, custodian system, and other tools.Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal reporting, including dashboards, SLA tracking, and issue resolution metrics.Process DocumentationCollaborate with the Product Owner to craft and maintain clear, user-friendly process documentation for internal stakeholders.Support change management efforts for new technology deployments and integrations within the department.What We’re Looking ForCompletion of a university degree or equivalent work experience3+ years of direct operations experience in wealth management industry, 5+ years of relevant experience in total preferably in the financial services industry.Risk and change management experience is an asset.Experience supporting technology integration efforts.CFA, CPA/CA, or additional designations/certifications is a nice to haveWhat You Will BringClient experience mindset and a passion for driving change.Excellent communication skills with an ability to articulate medium to complex issues to a variety of audiences clearly and succinctly.Quick learner and solutions-oriented problem solverExperience with middle- and back-office operations, procedures, and policies.Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to apply them to solve complex problems.Data driven decision making abilities.Innovation: Ability to challenge conventional thinking and drive development of innovative operational processes.Unique skills in identifying pain points, recommending improvements, and implementing value driven solutions.Results oriented, strong sense of accountability, delivering on key priorities and sustaining momentum post implementation.Some of the ways we’ll help you feel valued and supported as part of our team:Flexible working arrangements – 100% remote, hybrid, and in office optionsCompetitive total compensation, including company contributions to your group RRSP without a matching requirement from youComprehensive health benefits that start on your first day, with 100% employer-paid premiums, that include up to $5000 annually for mental health services and therapyParental leave top-up to 100% of your salary for a period of 25 weeksUp to $650 for home office equipmentGenerous time off policy, including 2 paid days annually to volunteer at a charity of your choiceDiversity and inclusion programs, including an active network of Employee Resource GroupsExtensive professional development opportunities, including access to over 11,000 training and development courses, tuition reimbursement, and monetary rewards for completing a required designationWe care a lot about fostering a compassionate, people-centric culture, and are proud to have been named one of Canada’s Top 100 employers for the last five years.Fidelity Canada is an equal opportunity employerFidelity Canada is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
