Job Description:
Our retail store in Victoria, BC is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service and drive sales. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, recommending products, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Responsibilities:
– Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
– Recommend products based on customer needs and preferences
– Process transactions accurately and efficiently
– Maintain a clean and organized store environment
– Monitor and replenish merchandise on the sales floor
– Participate in inventory management and restocking
– Provide product knowledge to customers
– Meet and exceed sales goals
– Assist with special promotions and events as needed
Requirements:
– Previous retail sales experience preferred
– Excellent customer service skills
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions
– Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
– Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
