Must Haves:

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • A strategy for content marketing campaigns, including determining what to write about, proofreading the copy of writers and also occasionally write articles if needed.
  • Create a strategy for email marketing campaigns, including writing email copy.
  • Organize, build and maintain a social media presence.
  • Track, monitor and ensure that campaigns are delivering against all KPIs by reporting on campaign performance.
  • Execute conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies with UX design, landing page design, a/b testing, multivariate testing, marketing automation and email marketing with successful results.
  • Monitor industry changes and developments in digital marketing.

What will your typical day look like?

Your specific accountabilities will include:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across email, web (Deloitte.ca) and social media, in support of Deloitte Canada business objectives
  • Collaborate across marketing functions in agency environment to deliver best-in-class marketing, focused on digital channels
  • Work closely within the digital team on strategy, planning, execution and measurement of campaigns and channel performance
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns, ensuring brand consistency and alignment to primary objectives
  • Execution of campaigns across all channels – email, web, social media, reporting
  • Managing campaigns including on-going optimization, testing, collaboration within the working teams
  • Develop and maintain relationships with marketing team and is viewed as an expert in digital marketing (email, web, social media)
  • Apply best practices in digital campaign to ensure optimal results in business objectives and collaborates with analytics teams to provide reporting
  • Communicate regularly with Digital Marketing Manager ensuring projects are on track, gaining support and guidance
  • Promote and develop best practices for digital content marketing (internal and external)
  • Commitment to on-going learning and education, knowledge sharing across marketing and agency teams
  • Serve as the lead communication liaison during site issues/maintenance between marketing and technical groups
  • Assist in the quality assurance of campaigns to maintain Deloitte branding and professionalism

About the team

The Digital Marketing Specialist – Reports directly to Digital Marketing Manager. Executing and maintaining Deloitte’s Digital Marketing activities will be a critical aspect of this role. As an integral part of the Digital Marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will collaborate with other members of Digital Marketing, PR, Talent, Design and Marketing, to execute and evaluate digital campaigns and ensure alignment with our Canadian and global policies and guidelines.

You are someone with:

  • Excellent writing, proof-reading and editing skills with attention to detail (Knowledge of French is an asset)
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS as applied to user experience across digital channels
  • Completed undergraduate degree in marketing, journalism or communications with outstanding academic credentials
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing (content marketing, social media, online advertising, email marketing)
  • 2-3 years previous work experience in the digital marketing/social media in B2B or agency environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Thrive under pressure and can effectively and professionally handle tough issues in a complex, matrix organization
  • Strong presentation skills. Ability to communicate with professionals at all levels within the firm.

We are looking for a strategy and execution-focused Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) who is a great leader and coach. This person has experience at high-growth B2B companies and is able to own all areas of B2B marketing, including but not limited to Product marketing, demand generation, content marketing, branding, public relations, analyst relations, channel marketing, marketing analytics, and events.

As a member of our Executive team reporting directly to the CEO, the Marketing Manager is responsible for the company’s core marketing strategy and shares the responsibility to drive growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the company’s regional marketing strategy and direct the execution of various marketing activities
  • Control the Marketing budget for all regions as well as to conduct forecasts
  • Be the point of contact for all Marketing and Branding topics between all locations.
