Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Credit Protection Product and Capabilities, the Product Manager will lead the development and management of a suite of authorized insurance products. The Product Manager is accountable for the TD Protection Plan (TDPP) product roadmap, profitable growth and retention of the product, and working closely with the Acquisition team to ensure targets are met. The successful candidate will be entrepreneurial, customer and results focused, and have above-average strategic and analytical capabilities. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who wants to work in a dynamic, fast paced and high impact business unit.

  • Develop and execute business strategy to achieve annual plan objectives for Creditor product(s), including net customer growth, profitable product growth, expense management, addressing evolving customer needs, and improving the customer and employee experience.
  • Support a cross-functional planning team through the development of the consolidated annual plan for the Credit Protection portfolio.
  • Lead day to day product management activities and ensure the effective delivery of product to the customer; be the subject matter expert.
  • Define / refine policy and process to enable effective sales and service through in-depth analysis of key business drivers, known irritants, issues, opportunities, etc.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis to develop and maintain a robust understanding of emerging / disruptive industry, market, and regulatory trends.
  • Lead the research and development of new products and product enhancements, including conceptualization, design, facilitation of opportunity assessment / ideation sessions, and the development of business case to support recommendations.
  • Identify and successfully execute initiatives and tactics aligned to delivering against long-term strategic priorities and financial objectives.
  • Report to Senior Leadership as a subject matter expert through all forms of written and verbal presentations (i.e. ongoing monitoring and projections on performance, periodic commentary and insights, product reviews, business reviews, annual planning, strategic review sessions, etc.).
  • Work with Capabilities Team and Digital Partners to identify ways the product can support rising customer expectations in a more remote TD Protection Plans conversation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demand gen experience in B2B marketing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enjoys copywriting and has the ability to proofread messaging.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the essence of a brand while creating value for clients.
  • Experience developing written content including marketing emails, blog posts, CTA’s and other compelling content.
  • Experience with CRM and marketing automation platforms, including the execution of drip campaigns.
  • Experience across multiple digital marketing channels (SEO, display, social, email).
  • Analytical thinker who’s able to transform reporting and analysis into actionable insights and execution plans.
  • Self-directed, proactive, collaborative and approachable
