The successful candidate will be a key part of the North American Digital Marketing & Customer Orchestration Team. This team is a dynamic, innovative team that is a part of the central marketing function within TD Bank Financial Group.
Job Description
As a Sr. Analyst on the Ad Capabilities & Digital Targeting team you will be a part of a group dedicated to enabling capabilities that support digital marketing performance (online and offline). This team enables marketing excellence and informed decision making through applying a deep understanding of data to predict, optimize, execute, and measure the impact of marketing spend.

- Leverage marketing database solutions and delivery
- Manage digital audience targeting implementation across platforms
- Optimize core data infrastructure by recommending and implementing ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
- Work in a consultative role and effectively communicate value-added insights in the form of analysis, interpretation, and advice
- Manage data infrastructure and data acquisition roadmap for paid and owned digital media
- Support measurement and visualization with data for reporting and insight development
- Participate in initiatives to enhance measurement and enable a complete view of digital marketing performance
- Leverage knowledge of data capabilities to develop and deliver customer insights
- Tell a story with data including exploratory data analysis and data quality validation
- Stay knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends, and technology and assess potential impacts to the Bank
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant experience in data analytics
- A degree in science, engineering, business or other quantitative discipline
- Financial services experience is an asset, especially related to digital marketing analytics
- Experience in SQL is a must; should be experienced in query authoring and have knowledge of concepts such as stored procedures, common table expressions, data validation, etc.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills including the ability to leverage data to formulate solutions that address complex business problems
- Experience with digital marketing platforms and tools including Google Campaign Manager (DoubleClick), Facebook, Google Search Ads, Google Analytics, and Adobe Analytics
- Experience in data visualization (e.g. Tableau, DOMO, Google Data Studio)
- Proficiency in data manipulation using Python
- A broad understanding of digital marketing data, analytical tools and methods and knowledge of where analytics may add value to marketing and/or business
- A passion for analytics, high comfort level and interest in interpreting data and results; ability to tell stories with data and facts
- Strong interpersonal skills with experience in driving productive collaboration with internal clients and cross-functional team members
- An overall dedication to producing high quality work and desire to continuously learn, develop and do better
